We will see how good or bad the bike is by what Sexton does with it next year.

I give him, Eli, and Jorge now a pass on criticism because they are figuring out the bike. I’m kinda breaking my own rule for jorge right now though.

No doubt Sexton will bitch anout the scooter next year, he is not one to mince words. Yet he has no problem with self blame either, or putting his head down and working through problems. Expect results comparable to previous seasons from him, you won't see him being passed by privateers like George.

Sexton will make Prado look like a fool. We don't give Chase enough praise, he is the only guy to give a healthy Jett a run for his money.

He will be top 3 in his FIRST outdoor race on the KXF.

He isnt on the same level as US top guys. Not mentally or physically. Plus a man with that many excuses isnt going anywhere but back home to complain.

Just over this dude. No fight or "heart" in there.

I cant imagine being a mechanic waking up everyday at 5 AM to wrench on Prados shit and then he mails it in all summer and then blames you. haha.

He’s not trying, because he’s not happy / not comfortable. Who he’s getting passed by isn’t a sign of his speed vs theirs. He’s not trying and they are racing for their lives. He’s a multi millionaire and could have retired already where as some of the guys beating him are racing for their careers and livelihood while he’s cruising it in.

Once he’s comfortable that changes. If you think he’s in 15th-40th and he’s trying, you’re daft.

You can feel free to dislike him for not trying, but it’s not a representation of his skill/level/potential.

No , but it is a representation of his character and creates bad jujuj thru out the team if he’s not giving it his all. I’m pull’n for him to ride his way outta this mess. Hopefully he can. 💯

Hey at least his mechanic doesn’t have to change shit on race day and tear it down. Just wash the bike and keep it in the rig for the next weekend. Word is he’s still on the same piston and rings since Pala, he doesn’t wear anything out 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I think we're all missing the obvious: MXGP Champions simply aren't as fast as the top 15 or so AMA riders anymore. Euros are going to suck tailpipe at the MXDN. 🤪

We need Phil to ride Prado’s bike so he can tell us how far off it is. At the very least he could tell Kawi if it’s their rider or the bike.

I do think what is surprising Prado is the intensity and line options in the Nationals. If you watch MXGP, a lot of the tracks are super tight with very little passing options. If you grab a holeshot you only have one guy trying to pass you in a few spots on the track.  In the Nationals you can be passed by two guys in one section.  I don’t think he’s used to that.

I’m not saying one side is faster but the line choices are way different from MXGP. I don’t think much has changed in 3 weeks.

Heard yesterday on Philip lewis's mxgp podcast that one of the reasons they don't hold the mxdn in lommel anymore is they're afraid team usa won't dare to come after the disaster they had last time.....they couldn't stay in the same round as the winner........

You can say what you want about Sexton, yes he complains but he still goes out there and gives 110%.

So if Chase beats Lorenzo Lacurcio next year then we know it's not the bIke?

Cmon man. The whole "it's the bike" bs is over 🙄

Lewis said on a podcast, I believe last weeks LvK that Prado “won’t push if he isn’t comfortable, and will almost never push out of his comfort zone” per Adam Wheelers MotoGP book. I’m surprised how many people think he just doesn’t have the speed to run in the states, shows how many people don’t pay attention to MXGP

You mean he is someone who will only win on a perfect bike? Sounds a bit Mika Häkkinen to me. Fastest when the car was perfect for him.

Thats why I never made it to the next level, I wasnt comfortable riding at the McGrath era pace.  The closer I got it got more dicey and I was still a long way off.

How dare you make sense. Swap Sexton and jorges bikes give Jorge his old engine package and see the difference. Hell throw im on a star yamaha and he will do better to. You dont lose that type of speed overnight.

Sexton I actually think will like the kawi better then the ktm and I said that the last time when he left honda.

Yeah, I understand Lommel is a whole different animal. Part of the reason why GP riders are good is that they have to adapt to much more varied track conditions.

Prado is demonstrating a European's awesome ability to adapt to tracks isn't he?

I’m certainly not an expert on MXGP, but don’t the majority of the top MXGP rider live near or spend a good part of their year at Lommel?  I read somewhere that George spent the majority of his time there.  Since the Euros spend so much time training there and we don’t have a single deep sand track on our AMA calendar, I would certainly hope that the MXGP riders would beat us there.  Probably not as badly as Jett or Chase would beat them at Anaheim, though.

I've always believed there should be a "real" sand track on the schedule.  Southwick is NOT a sand track.

It's a Jorge problem, not a European rider problem, clearly. But I guess you chose to ignore the rest of the dozen European riders for a reason and picked out the one guy that's struggling. Makes a lot of sense. The 32 y/o Swiss guy with the 30 hour old suspension oil is adapting pretty well it seems.

Jorge has all the talent in the world. He’s mentally fucked though. I bet he’s so fucked in the head that he doesn’t even train. I get it. I’ve been depressed before and it just sucks the life out of a guy.

I hate to see it. But that guy is not mentally healthy and it’s on display for all us retards to comment on. I’m 100% confident his life is hell right now and don’t necessarily blame him for not performing. I only blame him for seemingly not trying to get better. He needs to talk to that Christian Glasgow fella.

Just hoping the Reed family sees this also and are helping the young man, which I belive they are. We are  all are human beings and all go through crap here and there.
I want to see him battling for wins.
