The 'rumour' thing is an update on Matthes' part. He usually just says straight out that the Deegans want money to go. And by the way there aren't any journalists in moto to get anyone on the phone. Plenty of 'media' but no journalists I'm afraid.

I think it’s more then that they share first names, but listening to Fineis on pulp made me think of when Kyle Regal’s stepdad also named Mark called in if anyone else haven’t forgotten that.

See above; it’s not the amount of races that gives a rider rookie status. It’s when they went to full-time pro. If you want to add in a footnote, fine. But the benchmark used is not the amount of races a racer raced. Would you really want to argue that RV’s rookie season was in 2011 because he only raced 2 outdoor races in 2009 and missed all of 2010 even though he had been racing 450s since 2009? Or that Trey Canard’s rookie 450 outdoor season was 2013 because he only raced 2 races in 2011 and missed 2012...

So Jett wasn't a 450 rookie in 2024 SX because he did 2023 Outdoors and SMX? And Kenny wasn't a 450 rookie in 2014 because he did some premier class races on a 350? Makes no sense to me

He did his own physical training program, worked too hard and his body went into shut down (if you ask me, his muscles where probably under too much stress, dying and giving toxins into his blood). While he wasn't healthy enough he returned to Club and they said: now you're going to do our physical program. His body collapsed completely and he couldn't hold on to a result even if his life dependent on it. Now 1,5 year later his body seems fine and he still knows how to ride a bike.

I’m genuinely not seeing the substance in this reasoning, I get you’re saying he’s already been through a years worth of racing, but also none of that was on outdoors. Also Cole’s start to his outdoor career is much better than Jett’s, nobodies afraid...
