I think you're missing context about the "Contractors", there are only 8-10 in the world that can do the job you want, and most of them are already contracted somewhere else. If your job is known as the worst one available, then even if you're lucky enough to hire a contractor, it's going to cost a lot more.

And Marchbanks type of riders are the only ones that will ride for them…I was talking about riders that can win not the ones that can’t. If Kawi’s goal is to be 5th-10th then by all means keep on doing what they do….they just got beat by a team that’s in their 1st year… this is nothing more than Keith McCarty and Yam all over again.

Lucas flew into the USA to do a one off race while leading the MXGP championship. I don’t care if he takes 1st or 10th, he’s a bad ass and gets all the respect in the world from me. I certainly don’t expect him to win this weekend, he’s on a borrowed bike, never raced here before, has no experience at the track, and winning this race isn’t his goal (the MXGP championship is). I feel like him and his brother are here testing the waters to make sure this is what they want in the future.
