I was very interested watching some of the new LIV, for that much money pumped into golf, I didn’t see very much signage or sponsorship. Who’s footing all the money if there is bugger all marketing/sponsorship? As soon as you left the green or fairways, the course maintenance and shrubbery etc looked like a cheap local course. I’m not against the LIV series, this was just my what I first noticed. I thought with the money thrown into it I was almost expecting it to be full prestigious high roller type event.

A big difference is the golfers are members of the PGA Tour, and therefore subject to Tour regulations. The Tour has authority to suspend golfers by agreement with its organized membership. Feld would have potential liability if it tries to restrict competition without such a collectively bargained agreement. Wouldn't it be ironic if it was actually Feld that brought this to the table with the riders to stabilize and secure their championship?

they aren't directly competing with Feld yet. Don't think if they can't get some momentum that they wouldn't compete against them.

Thanks for the reminder and glad you're recovering. Men are dumbasses -- we all are. We'd rather have a stroke or heart attack than make a situation awkward by say, calling 911. I have a partner who fell out of bed one morning and had numbness in his side -- he was having a stroke. His wife started calling 911, but he insisted she not and that if she would just help him get back in bed, he'd sleep it off. This is a highly educated, very bright, professional person. Thankfully the wife ignored him. Please use this stark reminder...

Most important, I'm happy you're recovering. However, some people have serious misconceptions about "fitness", especially when it comes to the heart. If you're 250lbs and zero body fat, that's not "fit". Our hearts are not made to support infinite amounts of flesh. The heart pumps blood to support all of our living flesh and someone that's 250lbs of solid muscle, is 80lbs overweight, from an actual fitness perspective. Look to motocross to see what actual fitness looks like.

Roll of the dice...I know some of the fittest people around these parts and they have/had strokes...I also know people who smoke/drink heavily and live long lives without issue. Go figure.

I have a Roku account, which offers MavTV+ for free. Yet, every time I try to watch it, the message I get is "subscription required." Do I have to subscribe to MavTV+, even though I get MavTV+ already? Forget it. I'm just going to watch illegal streams on YouTube. Normally, I'm all about supporting the sport's sponsors, but Fuck MavTV.

Looks like (for me at least) the MavTV+ web page is back to normal today where there is a sign in option. The "we're sorry we suck" lame page I was seeing all weekend is gone. I logged in right away and cancelled my subscription. DONE...GOODBYE....GOOD RITTANCE. This service is the biggest joke I have seen to date. Again, I was using Roku to watch. I won't watch or cast anything from my phone. 1.) I have very high speed internet....the stream kept freezing during the races. 2.) Piss poor image quality 3.) It's unforgiveable to be showing pre-recorded...
