Bring back pickups with beds long enough to get motocross bikes in straight and get the tailgates up! Tired of these pussy-ass short beds!

Finally got some decent seat time this weekend. Saturday was open practice and Sunday was the Pro-Am. It’s manageable power for sure. Has the characteristics of a two-stroke, but I could lug it like a four stroke when I started to get tired. I’m still experimenting with setting, especially the controls, but I’m happy with the bike so far.

Really sounds like it went off pretty well for what Paul and the entries had to deal with.

While I dont mtb near as much as I moto, I have no problem with the brakes being different, my brain just know when im on a mtb, if I did switch them I think I would start having problems lol, but i will say I gotta run flats on a mtb. Clipless pedals mess me all up for some reason

It was tough, and a long, almost 13-hour day. But a day at the track beats a day on the couch. And I really enjoyed talking to some of the young riders and seeing that unbridled, youthful exuberance. My sector included a blind jump, so there was a good amount of "action" there, especially when the track got gooped up...

So about the engine....I searched long and hard for an engine and almost bought a couple whole blasters to get one. People wanted insane prices for total junk. Then rite before Christmas last year I found a complete engine with extra big bore cylinder for cheap on ebay. I put a bid in and won the auction a day later. Nobody bid on it, I think because it was almost impossible to find the listing. It didnt come up in any normal search for some reason and I found it by looking for parts for somthing else. Notice where the...

I never intended to make this a build thread, but after thinking about all the awsome builds I have enjoyed reading about on here I decided to do it. Maybe it will help inspire someone else. I have been toying with putting a Yamaha Blaster engine in a modern frame to create a low maint, light and fun play bike for years. Was leaning towards a 125 from the early 2000s to work with or possibly a 250f. I then came across a yz125, a kx125 and an xr250 with blaster swaps on the net and decided to do it...

I flagged the race yesterday. Five lightning delays and two torrential downpours. We raced until about 7:30 pm, and the track really was in pretty good condition all day, especially before the first downpour after moto 3. Even after that, the owner worked the track and had his crew push the top layer of muck off the track, and the...

The 78-79 CR250s were beasts. I had one of the first 78s in my area and my results definitely improved because of that bike. Three years later it was made obsolete by water cooling, single shock, rising-rate suspension, etc.

Hi y’all! Been doing some cerakote work these last week and here it is the result. I did both oem clutch and ignition covers as im planning to ride with these but for the display and pictures I will put on some PC’s. I’m also waiting for some bolts from Suzuki and a few more parts so I can fully finish the engine. Meanwhile some pictures down below.

Hey y’all! Had a bit of time to work on the bike during last week. Bottom end was finished enough to be fitted on the frame to check my calculations and see the alignment between front and rear sprocket, and greaaat successsss (Borat’s voice) I’m still in the process of cerakoting parts, so I assume I will be able to finish the complete engine during the upcoming weeks, still didn’t decided what to do with the cylinder, if going 134cc or 144cc or keep it 125 and do some porting/adding material (intake port in the 2003 is too big compared...

About a month ago I went out on a whim and found a 2026 BETA 350RX within a 4 hour drive. I’ve been wanting a second bike and it be a 2-stroke. I don’t have a good handle on the bike yet as Mother Nature keeps raining on all scheduled open rides. So, I’ll just race the local Pro-Am this weekend and report back on how bad I got my ass kicked. 😂 I did the suspension through Race-Tech, full FMF exhaust, carb rejet, and a Rekluse clutch. 🤘

Our guys are going into the 1st corner wayyy faster than before... and, wayyy closer together than back in the day... the most dangerous part of our racing, is wayyyy more sketchy today, than decades ago... Ever look at today's tracks??? Look at a 2026 sx track compared to 1978.... wayyy wayyy fn more dangerous.. then... look at dilla from back in the day, then look at it today... That crazy magoo double at Saddleback back in the day, wouldn't even be a challenge for a decent 65 rider now days.... Today's racing...

A friend got one just like this. I wasn't sure what to say when he asked if I wanted to ride it -- a motorcycle? I don't know how to ride a motorcycle. About 18 months later I hectored my parents into letting me get my own Z50 (blue) with my paper route money, and that started some 50 years...
