My understanding is that Josh Fout is stepping up with some help from Dennis Stapleton. Both are solid riders, know their stuff, and will tell it how it is. Jmo was great with MXA, and he still will be at his new gig. So now we get both MXA and Hold Fast with solid reviews/opinions from two different sources. Should be a good thing for everyone.

Just turned 70 and not at all down hill. Have 4 bikes and get to the track a couple of times a year on my 2stroke. Retirement is awesome. There is a lot to look forward to for motocrossers in their youth - my first race was at 16 as soon as I could drive myself to the track. Change your poll to "70 Plus - can't wait to ride this week".

I miss the days of riders being assigned a number based upon points earned. At the same time...career numbers are pretty cool and very marketable for riders, so I get that. But single digit numbers for 250 class riders is bogus!

As a woods rider, a bike with the low to mid like a 300+ 2 stroke is sex. Ripping a gear high, with the chassis and suspension not all bound up is an awsome way to haul ass. The 250s do it for me too.

What a great showing! I brought a framed poster my dad gave me from the 1985 USGP. Broc Glover was there and was kind enough to sign it for us. The coolest part was Broc’s memory of the race. He said he holeshotted that moto and was already out of the picture, but he still knew exactly where his line was. He even pointed out the only tire track on the groomed track, just to the left of the #2. Pretty cool.

On a positive note our grandson and the 7 year old neighbor kid we invited (who just got his first bike and was at his first MX race of any kind) had an absolute blast. Walking around for 3 hours after the race was over was just an extra added bonus for them. The neighbor kid is super enthused, it was fun to see him get to check out a bunch of stuff he wouldn’t have had we not been stuck there. Like him standing on the starting line and imagining he was in the race, throttle and clutch hands...
