Marvin Musquin won't be able to race in Paris this week-end. Seems like he fell in the whoops while training and hurt his knee. Meniscus problem, from what I heard. Don't know anything about the extent of his injury.

If surgery is needed this would open door for Dungey SX return.

We always knew the whoops would get him. Sucks that he's hurt, he's been the only one to keep Tomac and Anderson honest.

I had meniscus repair surgery 2 years ago. Still feel pain in that area every now and then. There is a new synthetic meniscus replacement available, but i dont think it has received FDA approval yet.

He burned that bridge big time. Google his results with KTM while he was on the payroll.

Wilson is still riding a ktm regularly and even got support from them with a bike... what bridge did he burn exactly?

He's French. Don't need no FDA approval.

It's amazing some of the ludicrous stuff you read on Vital and this is the perfect example of that.

How does a guy that spends two years in and out of the hospital and surgery room at no real fault of his own burn any bridges? You are acting like Deano spent two years with KTM smoking weed and fcking off. Like someone else mentioned, not only did he not burn a bridge, they liked Dean enough to support putting him on the white KTM for two more years.

Hope MM heals healthy and lines up at A1. The sport needs him.

Well said, Dan.

A lot of people assume that if you get dropped by a manufacture, you're blacklisted from ever riding for that brand again. I'm sure KTM would love to have Dean fill in for them this year. Who else is available with as much flexibility or speed as Wilson at the moment?

Marvin would just go home to France to have it done if they are doing it there.

He also has millions of dollars and nothing left to prove in the sport. If he wants to race that's great but I think if he really wanted to he would have never retired.

I had a left meniscus done and it was a piece of cake. I could have ridden in a month. My right meniscus surgery was crap actually worse than before. 2 years just replaced my knee. I was riding in 4 months.

Josh Grant is probably the other fast free agent right now. Hopefully Marvin heals up in time for A1, but Dean is the logical replacement for sure.

There’s also been reports that he’s getting stir-crazy and has approached KTM about a SX-only deal

They would be crazy to put anyone but Dean on the bike.

They have settings for him and would need minimum testing.

Would dean want to do that though?

I heard talk of Dean not getting the Husky ride possibly because of Roger being in charge of both now with his new position. Once you let Roger down you're pretty much dead to him it seems.

If Dungey wants to come back, I don't think he would be denied.

He would be if the budget had already been allocated for next year before he expressed interest in coming back

Sometimes you don't know how much you miss it until you've been away for a year.

Before give Marvins bike to someone else we might want to get more info.
He has roughly 50 dyas to get the meniscus cleaned up and rehab a bit. Depending on how bad the tear is,it might not be that big a deal and we will see him on the line at A-1.

Maybe we can just wish him well and hope he'll soon be back on his bike?

Wait, are you implying i can’t trust everything that turns up in a google search result to be 100% factually accurate?

Wel i can’t speak for anyone else but my day is officially ruined...
