To add a bit more to questions about AJ... The team started because of AJ (and Jason is crazy haha) because Jason wanted to help him clean up his program a little bit. AJ was using SGB before there was even a team. AJ sells a lot of suspension... the business that takes the team racing at all. AJ and Jason are both extremely loyal. The goal of the team isn't strictly race results. It is more: - Sell product and get exposure for sponsors (AJ kills it at that) - Remain fun so Jason can keep spending his SGB...

Shand is a huge part of the Texas motocross scene and the sport in general. He's always up for a bench race and a chance to promote the sport and the riders. I really hope the best for him and his family and a full and speedy recovery. DC Racer X

I haven't seen anything posted up here yet. One of the most influential members of the Texas motocross community, Shand Garcia, is having a pretty rough go with covid, If you've attended a major race in Texas in the last several years, one of the voices you heard on the mic was Shand's (usually alongside his sidekick, JP Parsons). He also owns Shock Sox fork seal protectors and wrote BERM "The Texas Motocross Chronicles" coffee table book. I respect your decision to vax or not to vax. The reason they want people vaxxed is to help the overburdened hospitals who are full of Covid patients and the majority are non-vaccinated. I don't believe half what the news says and none of what is coming out of the Whitehouse, but I know our local hospital has 38 on the ventilator and none are vaccinated. Not one. There are only 2 out of approx 60 in the ICU (includes the 38 on ventilator) that have been vaccinated. This is info I know for certain and not some twisted news...

No one is force innoculating. Don't get it Don't care. But don't fly, don't subway, don't hotel, don't eat out and stay out of stores. Other than that, you're free to do as you please, just as those businesses have the right to refuse to serve the unvaxxed

Face. Palm. These dudes had loyal fans for years who spent their hard earned money to come cheer them on....they sure seemed to enjoy the attention. It's pretty disrespectful to not be able to take less than 10 minutes to put something out that at least says...."Thanks for the memories, don't expect to see me around anymore." It could literally be that simple. If Blake were my kid I'd be pretty disappointed that I hadn't raised him to have more respect for people honestly. Probably a homeschooler I suppose...

9/15/2021 11:37am I haven't raced mx since 2019. Got sick of seeing my friends getting hurt and sometimes hurt bad. A guy in one of my races passed away and I think I raced once after that. That's the main reason. Just behind that is the jumps getting too big/peaked out and the amount of time invested getting to the races etc...

South Africa has headed back into the nasty part of lock down again. We are back at level 4. Most shit shut down including no alcohol again. As you guys may be aware, I'm three days out of Covid and honestly I'm terrified of contracting it again, so ill pump the tv remote and put hours on the PS4. I'm happy to be alive and will be content to ride out this storm at home....

Did you guys all forget that Ping used to talk mad shit about vital almost daily? On his old racer x videos before he got canned, and even during his early WT podcasts.. he stopped up until guyb gave him the job here at vital. ( does anyone even bother to read his ask ping segment?) Seems kinda lame to talk mad shit on a community for years then somehow gets hired working for the forum and depends on our views and clicks to pay the bills. He was never team manager at Honda and was only responsible for hiring one rider out all those guys. Dave Arnold built that team and hired those riders. Suzuki? Take away RC and a chance meeting with Dungey and what did he win? Developing a new bike? You’re just insinuating that because the man is black, PCP 252 felt the need to mention that he is “employed & hard working.” You fail to realize that he may just be associating those who are wheelie boys on the streets as the typical unemployed folk, without bringing race into it. Not all those who ride dirt bikes through the streets are black either.
