True, I guess there is lots of time to vlog at the truck when the main events are going

I mean if we’re in the game of just hiring YouTube stars to hang out at the team rig every weekend why isn’t anyone picking Buttery up? He’s made the same amount of mains as AJ has the last two years.
Why do you think ML512 hired that Walker guy, results or YouTube views?

Jace Kessler is the real deal.

If he stays healthy he could see some top 5 finishes for sure.

To add a bit more to questions about AJ...

The team started because of AJ (and Jason is crazy haha) because Jason wanted to help him clean up his program a little bit. AJ was using SGB before there was even a team.

AJ sells a lot of suspension... the business that takes the team racing at all.

AJ and Jason are both extremely loyal.

The goal of the team isn't strictly race results. It is more:

- Sell product and get exposure for sponsors (AJ kills it at that)
- Remain fun so Jason can keep spending his SGB marketing money at the team (he likes AJ)
- Help out riders he likes (AJ has been a loyal part of the team)
- Continue to elevate and grow (Happy sponsors allow that)

This isn't factory Honda where winning is the only thing that matters. If you know a rider who deserves a shot, they should be on the phone pleading their case to this team and any team that will listen and doing everything they can to meet the team's goals that they want to be on.

Don't ever blame a guy for spending his money the way he wants to spend it because we are lucky to have guys like him that are willing to spend their money.

Top 5 finishes. As in cross the finish line in 5th or better in a race or 2.

I think he should do better, not top5 of the main, but I think he will make the mains and finish around 16/20 place at the first few rounds then go towards 13/15th.
He is most likely gonna ride east coast. We will see if SGB will make him a really good 250 too.
I think east coast is gonna get more stacked than this year because some good privateers will think they can get top10’s easy like some did this year.

I'm not an AJ nut hugger by any means but who else is a team of this level supposed to hire that is so much better than him?

Anyone who made a main event last year. It’s a shame that having a YouTube following will get you a ride somewhere. Screw the guys who don’t film 24/7 right?

Screw the guys who do the extra work to put out content that increases their value to potential sponsors right? As a sponsor do I care more about a guy getting lots of hits on youtube with a recognizable brand who misses the main or a guy riding around in 18th place in the main?

AJ is great. At least he’s trying to do cool new stuff. I joined his moto academy thing. I sent him some videos of me riding and his feedback was simple but spot on and super helpful. I hope he does well.
