I’m waiting on the 22 Honda, but yeah, all the 250s are pretty great now, minus the Suzuki

The only non Yamaha 250F I had was a 2012 KX250. It was a great bike. Only problem I had was the oil filter bolt stripped, even though I knew it was a bad design and always under torqued it. Other than that it was great, and Yamahas have issues too, ... more »

The Rynopower stuff is good. Most of the ingredients have actual science behind them. I like the protein and hydration stuff the best. Motivation and Endurance are good products as well.

Yes, E-town has been good lately. I still miss the old track, but this one is fun now. If Fox is just moving the staff back into the same building, I am hoping they keep the label or at least the style of Shift stuff. I assume this move is because it ... more »

On the Gieco test podcast with Matthes and Keefer, Keefer says that Shift is done after the 2021 line. I hope he is mistaken, but I would guess that he knows what he is talking about. I will stock up on some Shift stuff when the 21 line comes out. They ... more »

Hard to infer their balance sheet from seeing who wears it at the track, but that does surprise me, particularly with Moto sales being pretty good recently. I will buy a ton of their gear if that ends up being true. Been wearing it off and on for almost ... more »

If I had to pick a single gear company to wear over the last 20 years and into the next 20, it would be Shift. No Fear had some bangers, that's for sure.

No idea why that happened. Regardless, next season I would just put a clean oil-free filter on before storage. You're going to want to oil the filter after the bike was sitting for that long anyways.

Not sure why people don't like No-Toil, but I have zero issues with the Twin Air Bio system, which I assume is similar. The problem with gas, beyond inhaling it and having to dispose of it, is that it will certainly degrade your filters faster. I always ... more »

I have 8 twin air filters. I use the bio stuff. I wash them in a big bucket I got from twin air that has a grate at the bottom. I do a few washed, usually about 4-5, until no more dirt is at the bottom of the bucket, then I use some dawn soap (the twin ... more »

Yeah PA is super rocky so not great for MTB, even though tons of people with more talent than me have a great time in wissahikon park. I prefer to just drop the hammer and pedal my ass off for an hour or two. Plus the moto tracks around me, Budds creek, ... more »

My wife hates seeing me in road bike gear, but she does not mind the 13/14 percent body fat % from how much I work out. I tried riding mountain bikes. Not nearly as good of a workout as a road bike, and not nearly as fun as a dirt bike.

Well the new tarmac is as aero as the venge now, so they are cannibalizing that model. It’s obviously better but will only make a meaningful difference for pros. Still cool to see the tech advance. I got the Allez in Alexandria, Virginia. Drove three ... more »

Anyone picking up ones of these? They look so badass. I was thinking about it, but the new frame only comes on the higher end models, so I picked up the Allez Sprint Comp. I have always liked the feel of the Allez.

Don't know your body composition, but, at 190, you should be able to throw a 450 around pretty easily. Might be worth trying!

How beefy are you? If you have the muscle to ride it, it might be a good option. I am 6 foot and 162 pounds, and I don't get to ride more than once a week, so I like being able to go through a 250F around, but yeah, the new Honda 450 looks like it could ... more »
