I raced the 1985 500 class at Gatorback on the new 1st year single shock Husqvarna 500CR and it threw the chain going into the 1st turn in the qualifier. Pushing the bike back to the pits Dick Burelson the then new Husqvarna SX/MX team manger with Micky Diamond saw me and he took my bike and said meet me back on the line for the LCQ. They quickly put a new chain guide, chain and sprockets on it. I got my Usual mid pack bad start but quickly moved up into a qualifying position only for it to throw...

Millville, Washougal and unadilla 2022. I was the guy who hit Roger de coster in the first corner 😅 Than went to redbud and Southwick in 2023. I think 15 and 16th overall and raced the next day in gopher dunes Canada and podiumed.

How many of you guys know someone who is very fast and then you see them not even qualify at a National? Or if they do, they look really slow running around in the back getting lapped? It is amazing how fast the top 10-20 guys are.

I’ve won practice at local tracks many times. Now I’m just bragging.

They have a technical alliance (think Tedder leasing factory KTM parts), but I don't believe there is any ownership/extension with JGR. I was able to visit the 23XI shop two weeks ago, it's an unbelievable facility. I'd say they have room to squeeze a few bikes in there...
