With Eli hanging up his boots, who do you think should run the #3? I feel like choosing to run that number means you have accepted the responsibility to represent it with grit. I realize it will be his for another year, so maybe this is a little early.
I have a feeling no one will run it..
If people will run the numbers 4 or 7, they would run 3.
If 2, 4, and 7 got taken then so will 3.
Dude- the engine isn't even cold yet. Show some respect 🤣🤣🤣

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
It’s several years before it’s even available isn’t it?
Also just noticed the username.....greetings from ronronmx, Jnick
If Eli doesn’t score 25 points or more in 2027, someone else can claim #3 for 2028.
*UNLESS Eli puts forward a request to keep it for one further year, on the basis that he might make a come-back.
Technically, it could be available next year if he relinquishes it.
If not, and he doesn't score 25 points next year he could petition to keep it for an extra year.
So, it could be available in 2027, 2028, or 2029, all depending on what he decides to do.
I can't be the only one that thinks there is not a chance Eli runs a single race to get points to keep his number. He seems like the type that does not waffle or race a couple of races just to keep a number. His retirement (IMO) appears to be a "I have all the desire in the world to enjoy what I have coming, and zero desire to line up at any starting gate" kind of deal. He has nothing left to prove, nothing left to accomplish, and seemed really happy to be taking the boots off.
Gotcha
Thank you
Yeah racing a couple races JUST to keep your number is pretty lame. Although I would love to see him race a couple races just for fun and if he gets to keep his number from it that’s cool. He will always be ET3/Beastmode
If he runs any races in the future, it won't be just so he can keep his number... Doesn't sound like Tomac to me.
Be a good number for Cole Davies.
But he gets to pick a single digit this year
Either way I respect the riders decision. Reed on #22, Chiz on #11, fine with me to keep racing until you don't feel like it. Doesn't detract from their early career accomplishments.
Tomac doesn't want to race anymore. That crash at Pala sealed it, but I think he lost some motivation to push 100% and take the risk that comes with it during SX.
He chose number 5.
According to Google ai ,Davies will run the number 5.

Wow, blast from the past. How you doin?
Back on topic...
I also forgot to mention the Ferrandis' #14 will be available too. However, to me, that's KDub.
I think the Daytona trophy sealed it.
Bro just needs to race Daytona every year...be everyone's wet dream.
#3 is a huge number to live up to.
I think it's up to Cole Seely as to who gets 14 next
...lol
My prediction is that Deegan gets the #3.
I don't know, the #38 is already pretty much his brand.
He'd have to modify a bunch of bling and tats if he did.
Deegan’s like Trey Canard in that he’ll always run his dad’s number.
I don't see him as the type to hang on to a number.
I don't think we'll see Tomac back on a bike. Pala sealed the deal, he has a young family, more than enough money, a sweet ranch in Colorado, etc. I would step back into the shadows and enjoy what I had accomplished and live life.
Do either of the Coenens fancy the number 3? I imagine they will be the next ones eligible for a single digit that doesn’t already have one or a career number that doesn’t want a single digit.
