I picked up a 26 YZ, it’s a great bike. At 64 I was looking at just having FUN!🤪

BAR Aviation is owned by Stav's parents. His dad Barak was a fighter pilot in the Israeli airforce many moons ago. Stav has two brothers. They are all fast on a mx bike. The older brother quit riding to join the Airforce as a helicopter pilot. The youngest brother is still pretty young but you guys will see him in a few years to follow Stav's footprints. He got 18th. He was on the outside of the start gate, and, 'went on' into the first corner - sort of , a bit past it, and had to do a little bit of a double back. I'm Not sure, but he may have been last at that time. A Seriously Great effort from the young ( I think ) bloke, especially with him only being over there since November. I thought he might have been one of those youngsters that have spent a few years ( may have been?) going to the 'States for Mini races / training...

Seth let the rider get in front of him in the whoops, which was correct, then passed him back. Whether he did it consciously or not it was the right move at the time. No penalty in my non-ama referee mind.

just put in my order for a 2027 300 yesterday, KTM. Dealer said they expect the 27's to start rolling in in May, as in next month. so, I expect a KTM press release on 2027 models soon...Would have liked that KX but done waiting. Will be riding instead!

It was a long time a go - 2012 - but I always have a bit of a chuckle at how JB tried to move over onto Big Ken De Dycker going into a corner at the Lommel MXdN . It was a bit like a Gnu trying to force an Elephant over. Ended up with JB losing a lot of spokes from his front wheel. I daresay JB had Little / No Idea who he was trying to mess with............. 😁 Hey, if he went to Britain and did a bit of racing, in the twilight of his career...

He also has hundreds if not thousands of hours practicing in the Florida sand. I think he’d be ok. People tend to forget that these guys as amateurs and professionals have raced on damn near every surface known to man.

Whatever the case may be, I would love to see this happen for him.

Barcia strikes me as a guy who would know where he stands vs GP riders in the deep sand at his age in a partial retirement, but will have a blast no matter what and just enjoy bettering himself in new conditions. "Dude, that was so gnarly! I was riding my ass off and barely finished 15th! Bring on the 2nd moto, I want another shot!"
