You don’t have to like Deegan to acknowledge a fact that involves him when the question is asked….. I just don’t understand how you can literally not think Deegan helps sell bikes. Idc if it’s 50s/85s whatever. Hater mentality on here is just unreal. You guys say bedbugs this bedbugs that, but the haters are the main ones starting dumb threads and blasting Deegan on unrelated threads 24/7

Yes, but younger kids will want a bike because of their favorite rider. I got a Honda CR80 because David Bailey and Johnny O’Mara. Pretty much stuck with Hondas.

Go to the races. Deegan is the most popular.

To be honest, Tomac sold me on Yamahas lol. But since the new gen yz450 came out in 2023 and I bought my 2024 I’ve been sold on the reliability, ease of maintenance (air filter in the gas tank position is great for changing filters quickly and not getting wet when pressure washing), and the great suspension right out of the box. I’ll be on Yamahas for a while now after being on red and green my whole life.

I’m assuming he has a large role in it. I think Tomac helped out just as much, he started winning right away on the Yamaha when many were questioning his move, myself included. Star racing 250 program has certainly helped with 250f sales over the years.

Maybe not deegs, but i think star has had an effect on people buying yamahas, lots of yz250f's around.

vital deegan haters: “no he doesn’t because I didn’t buy mine because of him.” lol dude you guys are unreal. Yes man, the answer is yes. Deegan 100% helps Yamaha sell Yamahas. He’s the most popular rider with the biggest fan base. That’s a fact not an opinion. You don’t have to be a fan of him, but that’s just facts dude

https://youtu.be/fqTssOBeVzc?is=GC4PIcIXo3gtGdGS Herlings (maybe best rider on earth) is a fan. Also goes on about how he is the most popular rider with the most fans. Figure maybe you’d listen to him over someone on vital.

I say go back to Lommel.

We need a track built like yesterdays brutally tough track.

The BOTTOM-LINE: The promoters charge and get PAID ridiculous amounts of money for this ONE RACE…The MXON. It’s time they kicked down for the countries that compete by providing a legitimate amount for travel/lodging/per diem for the attending teams. In order to be fair, actual expense research would be required to cover fair amounts based on actual travel expenses. Example: it’s a helluva lot more expensive to travel to France from places like Oz & NZ than it is from the United States or Canada. It’s time for this to happen.

Coop went out in style. He’ll look back and be proud the rest of his life.

Coop rode amazing – to show that kinda of pace and dog on a new bike, man he should probably reconsider dropping MX from his schedule.

It would appear so. But if he got the call to race des Nations again...I have a feeling he'd say yes.

Am I correct in assuming that this was Coop’s “Last Outdoor Race”?! He just buttoned up his last Outdoor AMA Motocross Season…right? And..how much time did he have on that Husky? 😎 The dude is a True Bad Ass.

Fellow NC native and resident here. It has been a satisfying day watching Coop represent his country and state in such a gritty manner and effort. He set an example of what stepping up and representing means and should look like. I hope that lesson is not lost on future Team USA prospects.

I’d love to say Coop overachieved, but I think what happened is he simply outperformed expectations of many. It was an epic performance, considering all of the factors involved in getting there. He totally lived up to the Captain America status.

Fifth overall is pretty damn good considering Levi was the only guy on the team who had more than a week on his bike. Coop definitely pulled his weight, and Juju did really well for being thrown straight into the deep end.
