One 2-Hour GNCC style moto per class. Replace whoops with log sections and rock gardens, maybe a shark pit. Must keep SX suspension bolted on.

When people ask me WHEN was the best day of racing I ever witnessed, it was definitely this day. All four moto’s were vicious, as savages RC and KDub slugged it out, 2 st vs 4 and, Mike Brown Vs Ryno on the 125’s…. And, the reason I bring it up now, is that my buddy Jerid ( he’s a plumber, he plumbs) finally gave in and permitted me to show these previously unseen images from that day, more to follow. Enjoy, my sisters and brothers.

Imagine Chase having to ride an actual pos bike like the 2010 yamaha or 2009 Honda. He’d retire

Found these while doomscrolling social media. Pretty cool trip down memory lane. Might be a “we landed on the moon?” moment for me but I’ve never seen these pics before. Caption: Three photos from Labor Day 2001, the day after the Steel City National: Ricky Carmichael’s first ride on the Honda CR250, the day after he won the Steel City 125 National and then switched from Team Kawasaki to Team Honda, under the watchful eye of his mother Jeanie, who already had her stopwatch out!

CLT809 Liked a reply to forum topic RMZ250 AX Team Build (with old JGR & BarX parts)

3/13/2026 7:59am
I figured I’d go ahead and build a bit of a hybrid with a JGR team head and the bar x bottom end. I started with measuring my clearances of a shelf JE piston, measuring 1.12mm pretty much all around, so I was safe there as most of I believe Dean ran the JGR stuff around .9mm. The compression calculators I found online were saying I was in the ballpark of 14.3-14.7:1, so I’m ok with that. While I was measuring things I grabbed a picture of the billet rod and polished crank if you’re into that sorta thing. Next...

Some updates now that AX is done. Our 2026 setup looked AMAZING once again thanks to Throttle Syndicate. I have a few ideas rolling around my brain for next year, I think we'll be able to keep the tradition of beautiful RMZ's rolling into next year. My 250 with a complete JGR works engine is on loan right now for supercross, and I’m going back through the other 250’s as well as studying a 2023 (or at least that’s what was stamped on it) BarX motor that was blown up and included in the sale of the remaining BarX suzuki...

You are able to run standard pistons, the gytr ones have a different coating, similar to a vertex or others, and the biggest difference is wrist pin, I don't know what material it is, but its noticeably lighter then stock. The "High compression" part of the piston is the same as the 22+ pistons being .1mm taller. These kit are...

I grabbed a screenshot of pulp posting the dyno. I just got this pipe and tested it back to back with the standard one at Hangtown last weekend. It’s def a noticeable difference in power, especially with how long it pulls. I recently got my motor ported by PC, pretty sure I got Mitch himself to do it too because I received a call at 7:15 pm the night before Christmas Eve saying “Mitch doesn’t like your cylinder plating so we’re gonna use a new jug we have here.” First off that checks out with his reputation that’s he’s there...

Landonious217 Liked a reply to forum topic State of Moto in Your State

1/21/2026 7:22pm
State of moto in Texas is same as it ever was unfortunately. A lot of the owners refuse to work with each other in favor of the riders so they all schedule over each other. Recently, 3 Palms gave the title sponsorship of the Texas State AMA series to Oak Hill. Immediately after this announcement, Freestone, Underground, and Cycle Ranch announced their own NMA Texas State Championship scheduled on the same dates. Extreme amounts of ego is still the name of the game here. Outside of that, there's still a good amount of tracks, although the truly legendary tracks are...

I’ve bought 8 of them within the last year. Never got a “fake” or “knock off” chain. Same packaging and chain as one off RM and motosport. We talked to a dealer about it, they said they can just ship them direct to consumers and cut out the middle man, and pass on the savings.
