Did anyone else notice Barcia and Tomac both on 17 seconds off leader for several minutes? But we're watching follow the leader up front at 1-4 seconds apart! I was yelling at the monitor for someone to take note. Those guys have good beef history so anything could have happened there but I guess we'll never know. I always watch timing and scoring sidebar to see who is doing what. What does that tell you about the validity of all the hysteria. I was there, the garbage situation wasn’t that bad. Also, very few masks. It was refreshing to be in a crowd that isn't a bunch of sheep being led to the slaughterhouse. Especially at an outdoor event in the middle of nowhere.

Osborne/AC/Barcia also had at least one bad moto or even a DNF. It's not like Tomac was the only one losing points to a mechanical. Not that it would matter, but if you think about theoretically giving points to Tomac, u gotta add some of those to the riders above aswell. 😜 By the way, AC only being 15 points down to Osborne while scoring zero points in one moto is pretty insane. With his momentum going on the last 3 rounds gonna be wild.

Wasn’t there also something about him not notifying Sherco of his knee surgery? He’s always been riiiight on the edge of making something really happen in the way of a championship run. He’s a bad dude. I can understand him being pissed about not having the proper tools to make that happen. Hell, I remember he was running orange chain guides in the off-season because he couldn’t get parts. Either way, he’s great for the sport. So is Sherco. They’re helping a lot of dudes right now. I wish them both the best.

While I completely agree that Stu Baylor is a beast, comparing him to Kailub Russell is a bit of a stretch. Their careers have spanned most of the same timeframe, and Stu has always been on top level equipment. Including the same factory team, at the same time as Kailub. As of today, I believe Stu has 4 overall wins and zero XC1 championships. KR has nearly 70 overalls with 7 ( soon to be 8) straight championships. Regardless, it’s a damn shame that any GNCC racer that’s capable of podium finishes isn’t making a good living. Extremely difficult sport...

4 Rounds to go in the Enduro Series he has a decent shot of getting Yamaha their first title there in quite awhile if they give him a ride. Seems a lot more realistic since Toth went out with leg injury last weekend. That puts him 17 points back of his brother, and the Sherco is certain to let him down at least one more time this year, and 11 points back from Kelley who he consistently beats in the Enduro series. Come on BluCru, give the man some bikes, a modest paycheck, bonuses and let him ride!!!
