JMarts National Championships carry more weight than Ferrandis Regional Championships. The list of guys who have been able to win a Regional SX championship is significantly longer than guys who could put together a full championship in the Nationals.

I’ve heard geeks like Matthes say that you need to build a base....months and months of building it. If you even miss like 2 weeks of riding your screwed, base is gone and your basically starting from scratch. The next time you ride your gonna be on training wheels. You need bases built on bases, doubled up by boot camps. I hear riders use the excuse for their entire career. Every season it’s the same story. “I just need to build my base up blah blah”. This has a huge part for me. I pedal and love it. There's a lot of area where we used to get to moto now it's a bust. E-bike is the next best thing.

Hes not burned out. Hes already accomplished what he needs to fir the year and a freak incident put him way down in the points. Why risk injury trying to win every race to catch up? This is the 3 being smart.

It's going to take some significant mishap or series of misfortunes for Osborne to not win this series. As much as I was hoping to see a 4-time champ, it's not in the cards, ET is just not the same ET at least in this series, and I'm very happy for ZO - one of the good guys in the sport, thrilled to see things turn in his direction thus far, and have a hard time seeing how it doesn't continue. In terms of fandom, I think we're now on a race-to-race basis, not much drama in the 'ship, but...

Interesting in that it has been said that the Gas Gas deal would have been for money quite a bit less than what he was making at Yamaha. If Yamaha just matched the Gas Gas deal that would mean that they'd be paying him less than what they were already paying? That would kind of suck if that was the case.
