With such an absurd amount of penalties, it makes me think…it’s kind of like when a whole bunch of students fail a subject, at what point do you blame the institution?

I find stats interesting, and I’m an unashamed Hunter fan, so thought this was awesome and hard to believe that after so many legends, that it’s a first. Stolen from We Went Fast: “ Never Been Done: Hunter Lawrence is the first rider in premier class history to finish top five in each of his first 25 starts.”

At the time I was disappointed. My goal was top 10. But when I look back at it now…That wasn’t too bad! I remember feeling like I was at a significant disadvantage with my front drum brake, when all the factories had just switched to hydraulic/discs. George Holland probably crashed or had some mechanical issues.

I did the 250 class that same year at Saddleback Park… I got 13th overall. I was probably the top finishing guy who bought his own tires and entry fee. It was one and done for me. Back then, there were no satellite teams except for team Tamm I think it was.

Family shit can go sideways sometimes. Been there, done that, it was awful, but now it’s all good. Pro racers aren’t immune to the same stresses and strains us normally folk are. I’ll be rooting for Jason when he returns.

Ok, we have something here. Thank you Maverick. Certainly something worth reporting But it says nothing of ghost riding his bike into Marchbanks which would be a totally different dealio....(frustration of the bike vs frustration of a teammate)

1 & 1 at Pala looked pretty easy after he gapped Prado. The odds of him doing the same at Hangtown are pretty good. We all know he has his starts dialled and will always come out in front or near the front. The chances of a perfect season are slim but Jett started the same way with his PS.and got it done. Hunter is now the man to beat, and he will have Jett as his wingman throughout the season. What say you Vital specialists?

Some of Dads old Pins and Belt buckles he received from his racing days (desert and scrambles). Thought they were cool and wanted to share. Wish they handed out things like this instead of the cheap plastic trophies of today. Moto on!
