Is there an agreement between the manufacturers that we won't compete with a bike that will beat yours. I thought racing was about winning? Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki shouldn't be that worried since J-Law or Marwin was winning on a bike which there is no demand for. They should feel good that they don't produce or put R & D...

Both you and GuyB are great debators, but I don't buy your rethoric(?) Supercross on a professionel level can exist without lot's of sold bikes/tracks/dealers etc. Motocross can't. Motocross used to be huge in the 80' and 90's. That's why there are som many delaers and tracks in every little village. Normal familys could afford having a kid who raced...

Interesteing perspective FTE. I often wondered about that in the GP's. I can see KTM putting a lot of cash into that serie, but the other manufacturers is "small" players indeed. That tells me the big four has little interest/money to put into motocross, since there's not enough bike being sold. Since motocross is running out of riders/bikebuyers they rely...

As a starter I like to compliment you for keeping the 250class open for riders suited to smaller bikes regardless of their age or what they have accomplished. FIM have set up rules to make riders move on to the MX1-class, and I dislike that. Why would a small light guy be punished for winning? Makes no sense to me...

If they did similar results on the twostroke they would be considered heroes. So from a public relations point of view it's hard to fail on a smoker. Everybody loves an underdog except if it's from Austria. I can not figure out why so many people on this forum feel threatened by the idea of 350's or by KTM in...

I also think 4strokes has made racing quite different. The hook up so well and are so predictable that everyone choose the tightest line in corners. IN SX the made it go insane fast and look and sound like excitbike I used to play on the really old nintendo. I don't find excitbike very entertaining...

I think the dirtbike industry is struggling just as much because of fourstrokes as the economical siuation. For most people there is a price they are not willing to pay, and we are starting to reach that point. In Sweden the fourstrokes have caused the following problems (and unlike USA our economy is doing great) The sound have closed racetracks...

Don't be so negative. It has to turn around but not based on nostalgic memories but because it's the only way forward for our sport. Fourstrokes is a dead end. If that's what the pro's will run in the future they will be widely separated from what the weekend warriors ride. If so they will not be racing for marketing...

I will follow this thread with huge interest. Can't wait to see the numbers Cedrics YZ pumps out. Great you are willing to share everything with us! DV you are a clever guy when it comes to marketing. Anda racing in the end is just marketing. I see great things coming to Cedric, your team and modern motocross thanks to...

I'm obviously as excited too see how he will do as everybody else. Both the SX and MX serie should gather all the best riders in the world. The SX is soon there. I Wonder when MX will come around? Why can't Youthstream and MX Sports agree on a serie together? That would put an end to the endless discussion...

I just hope he stays away from injuries. The MX2-class in the GP's wouldn't be the same without him. It would make for more even racing, but it would still be sad. If he can keep his confidence from the later part of 2010 he will be really hard to beat in SX and certainly in MX. Keeps my fingers...

I think it's a shame for motocross when the manufacturers decide the roules, and the promotors just play along. Sure the twostrokes aren't forbidden, but they don't have a fair chance. If we allow this I can see this in a near future. Honda becomes sponsor of MXGP and US MX 2016. They throw multiple cash at everyone to promoto...
