I REALLY hope this happens and I hope he does well. He will get more exposure just for being on a smoker. I'm a fan already.

He'd do better on a 450.
He wouldn't be getting a ride over here or with KTM in the past if he was on a 450. Smart career move if you ask me.
Smart for a team manager too. 2 strokes cost less to maintain so it's cheaper to put a rider on the track. One who is arguably top 20 but on a smoker helps Yamaha too since they still produce 2 strokes. If he makes the mains it's a win for all sides.
Hey Sponsors................dig this.........Nascar racers have fans and buy their shit whether they win or not.
I support racers on 2 strokes since I can actually stand to watch and listen to them.
I'd rather watch MC get 10th on a 2 stroke than win on a 4.
Like Phoenix, he could have pulled off after the start for me to be a fan.
Go Cedric.

Seriously?
Yeah, DV announced it on our french forum just a few minutes ago, how cool is that for Cedric and also for the fans...
I was wondering what this was about, now I know...

Have you heard a two-stroke next to a four-stroke? Neither have I. The four-stroke sound covers it up.
Cool!
Tough field to compete in, but I hope he does well! I'm glad a team is willing to take a chance with a good rider, not some washed up tester.
I would create an obnoxiously large poster to show my appreciation and thanks but I won't be at those rounds. Get him to Texas DV.
Just another cool thing about the upcoming 2011 season. As if it wasn't shaping up to be awesome enough already.
SX season just got even better! Go Cedric !!!!!

It would actually be more expensive because all of the existing team parts are for 4 strokes, so they basically have to create an inventory of parts just for him.
It will be interesting to see how close he can come to making a main, though.

I honestly think Cédric will surprise a lot of people, even on a 2-stroke YZ ...

Best news of the year so far! If he comes and does well alot of people are in trouble. They had better make very, very tractor friendly tracks to protect the cash cow. I may even drive to Phoenix for this.
Are you smart enough to buy a bike that costs less, weighs less, makes more horsepower per cubic centimeter, can be rebuilt for recycled aluminum can money and is giggle inducing? It is hard to believe that the American riding public flunks this test en masse. How stupid are you?
Any idea how good the YZ 250 is compared to his KTM?

it says 4stroke or 2stroke
I also would love to see MC get 10th on a 2stroke then win on a 4!
