That was sweet. I have been wanting to get a used 125 to restore (a YZ125) and use for a play bike. Hope one day we see the two stroke back out there...imagine a CR500 being in production again! That'd be awesome.

je te souhaite une trés bonne année et bonne santé

this whole 2 stroke ordeal is getting motoconcepts more marketing than all the years they've had a team.

hats off to DV for this one.

Gotta admit, DV is a marketing genius. Wonder if those bozo's at Yamaha are watching any of this? Our local dealer hasn't stocked a YZ125 or 250 in several years. I went in two years ago to buy a new YZ125 for my 14 year old who was coming off a CR85 and they wouldn't even offer to search for one. Just steered me towards the YZ450. So I got a KTM instead.

Newmann I was about to say roughly the same thing. From a marketing perspective, this was very smart.

4 strokes are boring and create little excitement - sure, watching Stewart, Villipooto, Dungey, Reed and everyone else race closely can be exciting, but the sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat intensity that the 2 stroke brought to that is unfortunately completely gone.

But now bring "everyone's hero" back into the mix, & couple that with the fact that the underdog is always admired by all...

Very smart.

God. Doesn't take much to get you 2t guys excited, does it? I can just imagine the sensation created if they brought back hand-cranked model T's.
