I used to ride but had to quit some 8 yearsago when i hurtmy knee pretty bad. I started working with mx back then insted, and still do this running my own company.

I love 2strokes, prefere motocross over sx, so I'm pretty oldschool i guess.


My favourite riders are Mickael Pichon and Christophe Pourcel.


I'm 33years old, married, two kids and not enough time/money to buy a bike just for fun.

BTW... I think 4strokes are the root to all things evil in our sport. They are expensive, sound ugly, makes the racing less demanding etc. I could go on 4ever. I hate them...

Interresting to read. I never experienced the era when mx was popular really. Håkan Carlqvist won some major awards in Sweden, where he was picked by people who usually weren't into MX. Nowadays those only go to skiing, track and field or soccerteam/icehockey team. I worked with a promotion company 2003 to create more exposure for mx in sweden, but...

What kind of background does Herlings have? Wasn't his father an ex-racer? I think it's really hard to break if you're from a country where you can't race topriders every other weekend. When was the last year he stayed away from injuries? If I remeber correctly he carried a injury the year he won the european championship as well? Mickael Pichon would have won 2003 and probably a few more years. Stefan Everst would not have been as succesful as he was on the 4stroke in the GP's. The combination Everts and the 4stroke made MX in Europe very boring during 2004-05-06. I think Chad would have done better on the twostroke in SX and so would DV12. RC...

What about Tixier? I saw him race in EMX125 last year where he didn't have too much competition really. None the less he really impressed me with choice of lines and overall style. I think both James and RV is pretty comfortable where they are right now. They are 1st and 2nd in points, and they now they're the fastest guys out there.
