Metty and Canard need to go into battle at the front and show that they are in it.

Alessi needs to get up on the lap board and qualify like a contender.

In the Lites:

Mo needs to get up-front and stay there, same for his team-mate, Martin.

Cunningham needs to learn how to NOT Fall-Down.

Nicky-P needs to forget how bad his wrist hurts and get up front.

Christian needs to be consistent.

Howell needs to make the main.

Maybe its like Weege said. We still have the two man battle of Stewart vs Reed, only now we have two Stewarts (Bubba and RV) and two Reeds (Chad and Dungey).

RV will be next in line if something happens to Stewart though, so unless both Stewart and RV crash, I dont see anyone else winning a race.

On that note I might as well put in my two cents. I think James has to win and beat RV straight up to prove last weekend was not a fluke.
Why does Stewie have to beat Poto straight up?

RV needs to win this week. Next week either Reed or Canard. Hanny needs another win. I think if tickle gets another win it will be his title! He was in winning position the 2 races Hanny won. He needs to stop Tickle confidence!

I think until the season heads back East, its going to be the Stewart and RV show. Reed and Dungey are playing the "Man I hope these two crash out so I dont have to up my game" game right now. They both have more speed in them, and they show it on occasion. But they wont up it until they see that James and or RV are able to stay healthy through at least half of the rounds. Be that as it may, I think RV needs the win this weekend. He needs more then just the fastest lap time to get into James head. He needs to beat him while nobody goes down. That would change the game. But as it is, one of them will probably get a great start, the other will probably chase him down, and one of them will wash out leading to another walk by either guy.
absolutely perfect analysis.

i thought of all the fab 5, it would be canard who would be the loosest and the one to go for it first....but its clear that with RV and Bubba, the gloves have already come off at a very early point in the season.

With each race that Dungey and Reed continue to employ their current strategy, its gonna get harder and harder to dig there way out of it once the midseason comes around.

Dungey or Reed both need a win bad. But if I gotta pick one, its Reed, just for the simple fact that he's last in points (fab 5 only)

Stewart seems to have doubts about himself this season, granted he came out swinging last weekend and whooped serious ass, but if Stewart beats RV again, it's going to give Stewart a bunch of confidence! And when Stewart gets confidence, that's bad news for his competition!

RV needs to rebound, like James rebounded last weekend.
I agree, but on the flip side.

I think Stewart needs the win the most. If he can begin to put together what looks like a string of wins, it starts to put the heat on the other contenders. Put doubt in the other guys' heads and the majority of the battle has been won.

RV will be angry too after last week and have a lot of motivation to prove he is faster than Stewart. I don't think James will have it all his own way this week, to much motivation from the rest of the big five to let him win two in a row...
Whoever is behind the points leader needs to win the most.

Mike does not need to win unless it is the LCQ. He just need to ride strong and finish in the top ten right now.

Dungey needs it the most. His confidence is hurting more than anyone elses at the moment.
It's the first time I have seen Reed content with himself. A 3rd is not as damaging to Reed as it is to Dungey. I like Canard but IMO he will start to fall off the pace around RD 10.

I would love to see Canard get a win. That kid is really exciting to watch with som really cool scrubbing and also spectacular crasches. I can't belive he rebounded after going over the bars and having his bike hit him in the back with force. He a warrior no doubt.

But probably Stewart will win again. He is the fastest for sure.

On my wishlist Cedric Soubeyras would be uninjured and come out and ride like a man posessed and lap everyone on the YZ250.

.Actually RV2 beat Stewart straight up at A1. Started from the same start line and no one
crashed and RV2 took the checkers first. Now, from your criteria for straight up, Stewie
hasn't beat RV2 straight up once this year. I'd say they have both won 2 races and the
first to the checkers is the only criteria for straight up wins. We all can manipulate the
story, just be happy that your guy is the leader in points, for now.Grinning Oh by the way in the
straight up rules does a bad start cover a crash in the same race, just askin.
