I used to ride but had to quit some 8 yearsago when i hurtmy knee pretty bad. I started working with mx back then insted, and still do this running my own company.

I love 2strokes, prefere motocross over sx, so I'm pretty oldschool i guess.


My favourite riders are Mickael Pichon and Christophe Pourcel.


I'm 33years old, married, two kids and not enough time/money to buy a bike just for fun.

BTW... I think 4strokes are the root to all things evil in our sport. They are expensive, sound ugly, makes the racing less demanding etc. I could go on 4ever. I hate them...

I think the dirtbike industry is struggling just as much because of fourstrokes as the economical siuation. For most people there is a price they are not willing to pay, and we are starting to reach that point. Don't be so negative. It has to turn around but not based on nostalgic memories but because it's the only way forward for our sport. Fourstrokes is a dead end. If that's what the pro's will run in the future they will be widely separated from what the weekend warriors ride. If so they will not be racing for marketing...

I'm obviously as excited too see how he will do as everybody else. Both the SX and MX serie should gather all the best riders in the world. The SX is soon there. I Wonder when MX will come around? Why can't Youthstream and MX Sports agree on a serie together? That would put an end to the endless discussion...

I just hope he stays away from injuries. The MX2-class in the GP's wouldn't be the same without him. It would make for more even racing, but it would still be sad. If he can keep his confidence from the later part of 2010 he will be really hard to beat in SX and certainly in MX. Keeps my fingers...

I think it's a shame for motocross when the manufacturers decide the roules, and the promotors just play along. Sure the twostrokes aren't forbidden, but they don't have a fair chance. The story how it happened is actually true. I heard it from the source since i personally know the rider who got injured. Imagine laying on the ground for a while not very shaken or hurt, then suddenly you hear and feel a crack to your protectiongear, and slowly you tear your acl...That's not a good feeling

Beside the traditional aspects i totally agree with phlewy. You have to search very hard to find the excitement with the current format. Team USA is just too strong. I agree with The Rock. I think the jump was to big. When you know the persons that's riding and know their parents etc, or even worse it's a family member riding out there it's different. I have no info on this. I guess on sea level with a really rutted and bumpy track you can go as fast or even faster with less hp/torque/weight and therefore the 350 is their choice. Do you make engine diagnosis by phone as well??? How the h-ll can you tell the size of Cairolis engine by watching a video? Just listening to someones voice on video/phone/irl makes a huge difference. I've seen and heard his bike irl and it sounds very different from the 450's.
