He started out as a 6 foot tall sentient penis with a pair of googly eyes on it, then he got real into clickbait moto videos and made-up gossip, while staying true to his roots as a penis.

Perky Started a new thread Machining a Rear Link

6/25/2023 11:34am
I picked up a very neglected '05 RM125 with the intent of bringing it back to it's former glory and racing it occasionally in the local series. I'm 99% finished with it but in an attempt to replace the very shot bearings in the "rear cushion" or lower link I've used heat, a dremel and a 6 ton press to...

They're not perfecting it, they are executing it, Jett at the highest level. Just as Everts was executing it at a higher level and Bailey was executing it at a higher level, and Torsten Hallman was executing at a high level, during their eras. This distinction between riding styles always has existed and was some riders' style just as much in the 60s and 70s as it is now. The performance capacity of bikes today allows it to play out differently and impressively, as impressively for Tomac's style as for Jett's and Chase's. That's been true anytime bike development permitted...

They promote themselves as the premier SX series the world has to offer, when it clearly is not. I do like the extra racing but understand your place and promote yourself as such. That’s my biggest gripe. Also not a fan of the series overlapping the outdoor nationals making the field more depleted.

There is a market for a decent, dated bike, for sure. There is a niche to be had there: The price needs to be significantly less than all the others. It isn't.

What a colossal bummer. I wait for mx all year and I'm a big fan of Chase and Jett. I really wouldn't pull for either guy to win more. Just to see them battle would have been great. I didn't watch sx all that much this year but I always watch every single minute of mx. Boo!

It's been 3yrs since I came back to riding after a long layoff. I've never had a problem with my e-start once and I can't say I remember any of the guys at the club I ride at having problems either. I'm sure they happen though. Rarely

Other then aesthetics’s truck has a pretty valid point. Yes they’ve tweaked the chassis and engine some. But it’s still a reverse cylinder design with essentially the same suspension components. They are far more alike then they are dissimilar. however I wouldn’t really say Suzuki is lowering there msrp because they haven’t been updating the bikes. They are in the ball park of the other OEM’s

Just a 3 minute search for "New" 2023 KX450's, 1) dealer: Great Western of Hickory : Hickory, NC $6,599.00 2) dealer: Mega Powersports, Inc : Gaylord, MI $6,599.00 3) dealer: Glen Burnie Motorsports - Glen Burnie, MD $6,599.00 4) dealer Holister Powersports - Holister, CA $6,399.00 So, for $6,399.00 plus TTL you can buy a very updated 2023 KX450 or for a couple thousand "more" dollars you can buy a Suzuki RMZ450 that hasn't been updated since 2012??

I just… I just don’t get it. Suzuki has to do one thing, and one thing only to stay relevant. Add an estart. Sure, all of you macho guys can say it’s not that hard to kick start… but why when estarts exist? I suppose y’all also want 4 strokes to go back carburetors too smh. (Side note - kick start a bike on a right hand off camber and tell me it’s no big deal) We don’t want a PC pipe. We don’t want BNG. The bike is fine, just add an effing estart and keep pricing competitive. We...

They’re going to lose whatever dealers they had after this. Kenny was supposed to inspire them to put out a bike that would sell. They’re just grabbing as much cash as they can now before they’re gone entirely. I say they’re completely out of the sport by the time Triumph and Ducati come around in 2026.
