Nick was a local fast kid whose speed didn't translate to the big stage. Parents sent him down to MTF to live and train. Went to Loretta's, didn't do well. Had some injuries. Raced a couple nationals with the all white gear and all white bike with no sponsors #999. Again, didn't do well. He became an instructor at MTF for a while. Developed MXLocker with college buddies and now is a YouTube moto influencer collaborating with the other moto influencers.

8/16/2026 8:22am Someone should ask the guy but it probably has a lot more to do with having the team supply and service the bike than him doing it himself or with friends in family. That’s a slight physical relief but much larger mental relief that would make up that difference.

I am kind of surprised how mangled his front end was, it was more of a high side than a high speed crash. What an awful place to go down though, that was brutal to watch. He seems like the type that gets after it with passion after something like this, hopefully he bounces back hard.

Good question. No clue but I could imagine he did that just to put it to him in the next corner down the hill. You can screw someone up there badly. Like loosing forward drive going up that steep hill costs a lot of time. Deegan letting someone by just to try something dirty wouldnt be the first time. I guess Jett had that feeling too, cant go more inside down there lol

I think Stews take was off. Deegan tried to stuff a wheel into Jett at the bottom of the hill so I doubt he was "apologizing" at the top of the hill.
