Wether it was his best ever or not, Tomac just decimated the deepest and most talent filled 450 class in history (in my opinion). Doesnt matter if its 2015 or 2020, indoors or outdoors. When Tomac is "on", he's untouchable. It's a shame he has never been able to be "on" consistently, but it's still awesome as F to behold when he is.

Look at Tomacs fastest lap. This was one of those nights and he actually backed down when he got the lead. Impressive.

I agree. He needs to be more aggressive. If someone is holding him up, he needs to not be afraid to make contact. That's the only way he's going to get good results with his horrible starts. Zacho, Barcia, and Anderson would not ride around behind other riders the way Tomac does. Tomac almost looks afraid to get too close to other riders at times, especially when he has faster rhythms. He just reverts to the slower option while following and seems hesitant to jump inside someone going into a corner.

I was there last night. He’s still a bad dude. You can’t start in the back of the pack and win races in this field. Simple as that.

There are a few factors in his life that are a bit different, but I’m sure he’s still got the raw speed. Things always get best for him around/past the halfway point. He usually loses the season the first half, turns it up the second half and has a near miss for the championship.

It’s to early to tell. By mid season we will have a better gauge of it. A lot of people thought it was impossible for KR94 to win again. Time will tell.. IMHO he still has that raw speed / Beast mode & hasn’t unleashed it. It’s possible that there are other factors involved like a baby that is due soon.

Clearly, Joey did not pull over for Eli because he liked Eli or wanted to do him a favor. He was trying to play the role of a good teammate in the hopes that Kawasaki would give him 'credit' for that at some point (2nd year) which they did not. No way Eli could say anything. Moto 1, Eli had a shitty start, outside the top 10. KR was out front in clean air. Not easy coming through the pack & run fast lap times. Tomac was running 2.12 lap times once he got his goggles fixed. First half the race he dicked around in 10th messing with goggles. I think Kenny was running 2.14s, last half the race. Moto 2 Rockzen back out front, I think Tomac was just inside the top 10. He ran Kenny down & put 10 seconds on him. No way Kenny settled for 2nd. He is not going to give...
