Supercross this year changed Hunter. I didn’t used to be a big hunter guy, but the way he handled himself in supercross made me a fan. I think hunters speed is the reason we are seeing Jett make so many mistakes. His ankle definitely isn’t helping, but if Hunter hadn’t risen up I don’t think we would be seeing him crash so much.

I’ll just leave Wardy and Jonny O’ on your door step to tell them they were not elite athletes. You’re a fool, sure the 90s were wild but to say the mid 2010s - the 80s top guys were not training is retarted.

Hunta is fully putting it to Jett and is on the verge of taking Jett’s title from him in Jett’s strongest discipline. Keep in mind Hunta had only won a single overall in 450 MX prior to this year. No one ever took any of RCs, JSs, or RVs outdoor titles off of them straight up, and Jett may get dealt that blow. If you set aside the fact that they are brothers, what we are watching is a pretty big deal and it is highly competitive. But yeah, it’d be nice if there was someone else in the mix...

Yeah, it's a tough crowd in here about Tomac. First, Tomac crashed in a way at Pala that would have made me retire. He could've really been seriously hurt from that crash or even paralyzed. Second, is that this bike is new to him in the outdoors. Tomac is faster than what he is showing but you can tell he isn't comfortable on the bike yet. He is not willing to push. I don't blame him at all. I'm just glad he's out there.

Geez, tough crowd. After the run of luck he has had with not being able to finish races, can’t we be happy he still has the desire to put his body on the line? Many of you all had concluded that he should have called it a day after pala lol Surely today can just be called a successful day, move onto next week.

I thought he did awesome! Super smart Vet ride out there, taking what the track and his bike/body were giving him and finishing both motos. Eli knows what he’s doing and will certainly improve next weekend.

I'm just so glad he's back. He will be better as I think the results reflect a combo of not having the bike where he wants it (first year on the Katoom), not pushing past his comfort zone and also not trying to do anything stupid. I think the mission was to get out of this race unscathed and get a better feel for the bike.

He’s been away for a bit. My giess is that he’d like to spin some laps, get a couple starts under his wings and end on a positive day. Assume that a top 10 would be a goal at those point considering everything. glad he is back.

I never expected him to win right away on a 450. He's beating everyone that Jett did when he was a rookie.

Same here, I absolutely loathe his personality but I will not bash him for his effort and tenacity. He would have a lot more fans including myself if he’d just be a normal decent human.
