We sponsor a lot of teams and riders (about 70 total pro riders this year). That's a significant investment - about 150 sets of triple clamps and bar mounts, which has a retail value of over $170k. The teams and riders go racing, and they give us access to a shared folder if images from the races that we can use to promote our product, the team, etc. But with these changes, the teams will now have to pay $500 per race, per sponsor, per photographer(!), to give this same access. The bottom line is if the new rules/fees were even remotely reasonable they wouldn't be trying to hide them from the public under this veil of secrecy, the only reason they're doing it is because they know fans will tear them a new one. You don't usually have to hide it if you're doing something positive or beneficial. . .

Shit...My great grandmother lived in Hemet, right next to Larry Minor's zoo. One day she asked me, my brother, and 2 of my cousins to mow her lawn. I think her property was 1-2 acres. We all agreed to do it, but didn't negotiate a price, or see the mower first. Damn mower was a push mower, no motor, just the barrel type with gears and blades so it spun faster. Growing up in La Mirada Ca, not the moto capital of the world. We were probably 4 miles from the old U.S. Suzuki building. There was a quarter “literally “ car wash on the corner of Stage and Alondra. I lived like 1/8 mile from it so I would push my 78 YZ 125 there to wash it. Well I’m guessing power washer’s weren’t around then. Every now and then a Suzuki box truck would roll in there and unload their Works Bikes. I’d be washing mine one bay over from them. Talk about being in total awe of those...

For example...circa 1970...location...Fallbrook at Saticoy (Canoga Park in The Valley) and west of there...a few miles west of there was rural...at that time...😎 I remember gettin' up early on a Saturday, downing a huge bowl of Cheerios and taking off for the day on my BMX bike...made from a Schwinn Sting-Ray with "box bars" and a rear rim laced on the front (we fab'd our own BMXers back then...) ...and I remember being gone for the whole day in the hills on the west end of town...jus' out making BMX tracks in the gully...stuff like that. Look, we all seem to get all opinionated and shitty in here; but, damn… Have you tried to survive more than 5 minutes over on the Moto side? From the Deegan insanity (actually worse than our “politics” in here!) to the simple fact that there’s 2:or 3 absolute nut-jobs making about 1/2 of all the daily posts… Well, Moto has turned to shit. This used to be a great place to come and bench race. On occasion we’d do good things together, even tho we’d never met in person. so tonight went real bad until it went good, car was stuttering and falling on its face in hotlaps/qualifying and pulled off, went leaner in the main and it got worse, went richer and it was way better for the main, got to get comfortable and was literally the first main I started since my first race and the first main I finished, got 8th out of 11 but the other guys had mechanicals so technically I got last😂 will have videos up tomorrow, I didn’t run the GoPro with all the jetting drama but I have iPhone video

Car is ready to go pretty much, I inspected my fuel bladder and found a small tear and got the proper urethane to repair it, filled it up with fuel and zero leak so far. I also had a small oil leak coming from my oil pressure gauge nipple (I said nipple). New rear end is installed and the ball covering the u joint spins freely now, installed a drag link tether and also put the 53 front axle on that we straightened. I also ditched the extra wide left rear and put a standard one on it. Going to...

Thank you for the kind words, thoughts, and encouragement peely. All noted and very much appreciated. She slept most of the visit today but with the tube being removed yesterday afternoon, it was a big effort for her body, so I understand she needed the rest. Positive thoughts, wishes, anything for my mum Roseline. She had a stroke yesterday a bit before 3:00pm and is still currently intubated in ICU. She’s the strongest person I know and even after my dad and my brother passed away never stopped charging. I love you mum.💪😔❤️
