The race sexton went to was basically in his hometown, minutes away from where he lived and had a track in his yard before moving to florida. I promise you his sponsors didn't care one way or the other if he was there. The winning 2 races thing as being evidence that the bike is fine is hilarious to me. Jett won 4 outdoors this year, does that mean everything was fine? Both achieved well below their ceiling and it is silly not to consider the causes of that.

It's @#$ time to do away with the production rule. It had it's time when there was a huge discrepancy between factory and production bikes, but that time is passed. There are two different suppliers of 2001 CR500 cases for the aftermarket, but we can't get a custom case and starter for an RMZ because "rules".

Just changing the carb needle shape has a huge effect of how linear or how much hit you have. I just went through this on my Beta. With the stock needle, the hit was enough that you could have the front wheel jumping up shoulder high coming out of corners, which was good for kicks and giggles at first, but a major hindrance and PIA after a short while. I tried several needles and each one had a very different power curve. I didn't want to kill all the midrange it had, but it needed to be tamed down and...
