I have had a lot of RC toys but the first time i went to a real track they were having a race day so I signed up and had a lot of fun but some of the regulars were having tension with another tracks regulars that were there and there was a lot of fighting over a hobby. I had so much fun though that I went into the office and donated money to the track as they were raising money for upgrades. The last time I actually did the RC racing thing was way back in the early 90s. I had a pretty nice little Kyosho Ultima 2WD that wasn’t the fastest car on the track, but it had great suspension and handled like a dream compared to all the rocket ships that were in the class. We had a place with an off-road track on one side, and a dirt oval on the other. I loved the dirt oval because I could slide under all the other 2WD buggies pretty regularly. Who makes the tightest set?

I bet I have built 6 of the RC10s over the years and they take a while but a lot of fun. I always dye the white nylon parts, wheels, transmissions etc with RIT dye and it works real well on those parts. Now I just have a LOSI db pro and that thing is bullet proof.
