If you want something modern, fun, and fast, you may look into Tekno and Associated 4wd Truggies, or Short Course. You could also do an 1/8th scale Truggy if you want to spend a lot of money. There is also a new thing people are doing with 1/8th scale buggies - converting to 1/8 scale Short Course. Depends on what you want to do...race or play.

My Traxxas Slayer Pros

Threads dying, I'll post pics...

Three months later and I'm still on an Easy Red 2 kick. They recently released an update that improved the AI, fixed a bunch of community requests, and are apparently working on Iwo Jima and Khalkhin Gol campaigns. Really blown away by the productivity of Corvo Studios tiny team.

It is not even the same game. Ad the Phantom Libert DLC if you can. It is amazing and expands on the universe and Night City in a very cool way. Jealous you get to play it for the first time😅

That’s still a pretty good looking buggy!

The last time I actually did the RC racing thing was way back in the early 90s. I had a pretty nice little Kyosho Ultima 2WD that wasn’t the fastest car on the track, but it had great suspension and handled like a dream compared to all the rocket ships that were in the class. We had a place with an off-road track on one side, and a dirt oval on the other. I loved the dirt oval because I could slide under all the other 2WD buggies pretty regularly. I’ll probably look at a newer RTR buggy instead of...

Mostly race nitro buggy and truggy and use electric buggy and truggy for practice at big races because it can sit there while I'm in line and don't need a pit person. In the 90s I raced 2wd stadium truck but nowadays 8th scale 4wd is the way for me

I don't even know how many thousands of RC car and truck stands we made over the years
