46 here. I turned to vintage moto. For me it’s way more fun and the tracks are tame enough that I feel comfortable pushing myself.

There are a lot of us forty & over who race & ride (I'm 49). No, your not out of your mind, it's a stress release for me whether I race or just go riding in the mountains or desert, I'll ride until I'm physically unable to. A word of advice....get a 2 stroke, it's cheaper and less technical to work on then the "Modern" 4 strokes, not to mention much lighter. You can find plenty of them for a song & a dance also. Craze
