12/6/2020 6:52am This 2021 CRF450 went full internet stupid. Rules of internet motocrossing: -The people that chirp the loudest about a bikes/gear/products downfalls have never rode/tried the product. -99% of people that post 2 stroke memes have never done a lap riding one on the pipe -The people that comment on bike releases bitching about how much bikes cost wont/couldnt buy them is the cost was half. -Energy drink logos = horsepower. With all that out of the way. I will state what I have told 100+ people in person since getting my 21 crf450 October 3rd. 10+ rides on it. I...

12/2/2020 7:52pm For my buddy with the 20 YZ250F the FCP engine mounts were worth the money in terms of chassis feel and I felt similarly after riding the bike with the stock mounts and FCP mounts. If you are sensitive to small changes to your bike might be worth trying.

12/2/2020 6:02pm 1. Fork guards are the flo yellow 2. Rear fender and stripe on side is flo yellow 3. Seems like the myHusqvarna EFI mapping unit should be waterproof - maybe one of the 2021 KTM 250SXF Factory Edition owners can chime in since that bike came with the same unit.

12/2/2020 9:12am My buddy added them to his 2020 YZ250F. (3) of us all felt it helped front end traction feel at turn in and settled the bike on rough higher speed sections. Not a big difference but noticeable. He sold that bike and bought a 21 YZ250F. We have all ridden the 21 YZ250F and it has the better turn in...

11/15/2020 6:33am I always have a 350 in the garage (current is 21 KTM 350XCF Kailub Russell Edition) and get to ride my buddy's '21 YZ250F a lot. 350's are my favorite combination of power/weight/handling in a 4-stroke dirt bike. The '21 YZ250F is a very close 2nd favorite 4-stroke for me. The YZ250F has such good partial throttle roll on response...

10/29/2020 9:53am The width of the YZ250F upper shrouds is mostly noticeable when just sitting on the bike but tends to be much less noticeable once riding. The front upper part of the shrouds (where in intake vents are) are a little wider on the YZ250F compared to the other bikes. The mid section of the YZ250F is relatively thin. The '21...

10/27/2020 6:20pm I got to ride a new 2021 YZ250F last week. I liked the bars in the forward position (I am 6'2" and 190 lbs) - opened up the rider triangle. Easy enough to move them back. How does the 21 YZ250F work? For me the engine is noticeably stronger everywhere (especially up top) with a free and quick revving feel...

10/22/2020 6:45am Only the moto FC250/350/450 got the lowered suspension for 2021. No change to the '21 off road TX/TE models or '21 FX350/450 bikes

3/1/2020 5:19pm Sound and smell do not enhance riding. When you hear a bike or smell gas and oil, its does remind you of riding. That is why we love the sound and smell. When I was with Alta, I assisted hundreds of riders demo an Alta. When a rider finished a demo, they always had a big smile on their face and not once did a rider complain about the absence of sound. I raced mine 3 times and pulled 6 holeshots with 4 moto wins and two seconds against mostly 450's. I loved the bike and wished I would have...

2/1/2020 7:45am KTM bikes and KTM motorcycles were at one time part of the same company and then the company was split and sold off separately in the early 90's. Both companies have manufacturing in Mattighofen, albeit KTM Motorcycles does have some bikes produced in India. Additionally, both companies use the recognizable KTM logo and color scheme. KTM motorcycles also makes some pretty sick street bikes and some of the best ADV bikes in the world. While the motorcycle and bicycle companies are not officially under the Pierer Mobility umbrella, they are still loosely connected. As for Husqvarna, Stefan Pierer purchased Husqvarna...

1/6/2020 7:35am I can only speak for myself, so I won't try putting words into anyone's mouth, but I harp on the broadcast team because of the massive disparity between the show on the track and the show in the booth. I'm a racing fan, first and foremost. I'm not a fan of supercross and motocross because I love riding, or because my family was into it (I've never even touched a dirtbike in my life). I was drawn in by the racing on the track, and it is BY FAR the best racing in the world. Period. There is passing, there...

10/31/2019 4:19pm If they are able to hit the mark like they did with the Sur Ron Light Bee they will sell a bunch of them. Not a world class anything, but a tremendous fun package for really cheap that has proven to be reliable. Lot's of riders reporting the ability to get way deep in the boonies where they would never attempt on a big bike opening up new opportunities. Lot's of upsides with a strong cult following. This is the type of bike that will attract millenial's and new riders and bring back old riders who quit riding.

10/28/2019 4:48pm I have the small "ebike" version of this, the Sur Ron X, and it's an absolute blast to ride. 110lbs with a removable battery and takes about 3 hrs to charge and gets about 2 hrs or 40 miles of ride time. No engine maintenance is nice and I can ride it through the neighborhood and nobody cares. I can even take it on the sidewalk at slow speed and people just wave hello. For everyone that automatically shits on the electrics just for being different and not "core" enough, you really should keep an open mind and give them...

mxengineer1 Started a new thread 2019 KTM 300XC: Smokers alive and well!
9/28/2019 9:39am Picked up a new 2019 KTM 300XC last night. KTM (and Husky) still updating their 2-strokes yearly. I like the slimness and overall feel of the new KTM plastic and seat. The engine has updates and the pipe is all new with the front part oval shaped and tucked in better. My initial impression after a quick spin around a...

9/26/2019 5:35pm Saw these new Beta's in person today at AIMEXP in Columbus, Ohio. The all new 2020 300 Race Edition looks even better in person. FARANG Liked a reply to forum topic Japanese 350s
9/4/2019 5:42am I'd love a Japanese 350. But I'd like to see them make it like a mini 450 with all the power down low (kind of like the 2018 YZF250), as opposed to the Austrian 350's which are more like big 250's and have most of the power up top. I think that would sell well as it would be different enough from the Austrian bikes, plus it would have the Japanese name and image of reliability for people who are still concerned about KTM/Husky Euroness or reliability. A super torquey YZF350 would be awesome. Can't imagine it would be that...
