Did they call you with an update or did you need to call them. I received an email from Honda after deposit was put down saying November but have not got any updates. I am in Canada.
Did anybody even get one ? Not a single dealer in my area was able to secure on for their customer on the online portal.
Cool Springs Honda in Franklin TN received 2 and they have 1 left.
I had a friend looking and they quoted me $14,448 OTD with tax and fees. The standard regular CRF is $12,380 OTD.
The dealers are trying to get everything they can due to units being scarce.
It does seem like a better value to purchase a Works Edition vs. upgrading the standard version.

Seems like an even better value to buy either the Yamaha or Kawasaki that beat the Honda in every shootout I’ve seen so far for thousands less, then spend the money you saved on entry fees.
I have heard we will get ours in December so that means they should be in dealers just before then.

Thank you Keefer
What all is changed when getting the FE vs normal CRF ? Yosh exhaust, graphics, engine mods and mapping ? I haven't been on a 450 since 2018 and this would probably be my last big purchase. Saw one at my local track looked like a blast to ride.

Our release date from Honda is 12/30
I put a deposit down in August and have not heard anything about a delay. I was told 11/27. Man, I got a good deal compared to the prices that were posted.

With availability being an issue...
Get whatever version if the new bike while you can!
I just lined up an R & an RX for a friend that wanted 2 Rs. He could’t find any Rs...at all. He paid $9.5K out the door for each (California).
Hey, you still got my “special” Ti tank?
I ripped a start from Egypt and I was happy about that.

I’m in the same boat. Back in August my son surprised me with the purchase of the WE !! He got a killer deal compared to what I’m seeing from others . I’m fine with waiting until winter for the bike but I do have concerns/fears that the order could end up canceled from Honda. I’ve seen others say that they put cash down and were later notified by their dealer that Honda canceled their order. So far my dealer says the order is still a go.
For shits and giggles, I called dozens of dealerships all over the country for a 21 works edition and not one had any and almost all said ETA was moved to 12/31/20. Most dealers didn’t even get a 21 R yet. Some dealers aren’t even going to receive a 21.

Touched base with my Local Honda Dealer (in Canada) and he mentioned something to the effect that 13 units are being released here in Canada. So in essence, there is a zero percent chance of getting one here.
My comment was "Why even advertise them if they are virtually unobtainable?"... he agreed.
Not even looking for a deal, I would gladly pay full pop. But that doesn't seem likely.
