Well, looks like I’m buying the beta now. I planned on buying a new husky tx 300 next year but if Beta is putting the KYB on their race models then I’m definitely going to go that route. I’m so excited for this.

I bet there’s a big group heading the same way, also many prefer the simplicity of the carb. Probably save a few grand too.

Any idea when the release date is? My dad has a 2018 Beta 125 right now. He’s going to upgrade to a 2020. Do the smaller 2 strokes have the counter balancer?

Im going to call every beta dealer within 200 miles and tell them I want a 300 race, my buddy wants a 300 race and my dad wants the 200. Whoever gives us the best deal will sell 3 bikes.

Saw these new Beta's in person today at AIMEXP in Columbus, Ohio. The all new 2020 300 Race Edition looks even better in person. KYB fork with Sachs rear shock, simple Keihin carburetor with option to add oil injection, and counter balancer...the new 300 Race Edition could be the analog alternative to the orange and white fuel injected 2-strokes. Beta also had a new 2020 300 Xtrainer on display. A few pics from today....

November in the U.S. and no counter balancer in the 125 and 200. Kissell Motorsports in PA has been the top selling dealer in the country a few times, Beta sells out every year and I'd guess the supply won't last long this year and availability may be as important as price.

Yeah my old man bought his beta 125 there last year. He got a bangin deal on it too. Kissells is definitely a great place. I really didn’t want to buy a new bike this year. My wife’s gonna kill me Laughing

Going with some of the parts won't be made in the Bajaj India factory and the forks won't require a new internals to hit anything bigger than pebble.

My son just sold his 2019 250RR because he hated the forks and didnt want to deal with replacing them and was just over the bike and had had enough. The rest of the bike was awesome so this should really make them a great bike.

Good move going back to red. They are some of the best looking bikes, period.

KTM's competition models are built in Austria dummy....

I would have bought one of these last year without hesitation but I went orange instead. The counter balancer and the issues with the sachs forks were a deal breakers. I think Beta will sell every single of these they make.

Lol. Right. I actually still use the European pronunciation which is "Beat-ah".

When my son raced them I sold his two bikes at the end of every year. The 300’s and 350’s sold right away. 250 not as fast, but wasn’t what I’d call a problem to sell.

We are in the process of trying to become a dealer. Looks like the timing is going to be good.

No, the 4t RR-s lineup uses ZF (Sachs) Open Cartridge with single side adjustable and externally adjustable preload. They are $300 less and well reviewed, but they aren't KYB's... KYB's should also soon be available through the BYOB program as an upgrade to the ZF's, price for the exchange yet to be determined.

I did a test ride of all the '20 models and liked they way more than the '19, and than my Husky '19 too... With this fork it should be even better.

Rode the 20 models as well.

I hated the forks with a passion. They were out of the box though. Maybe the clickers were way off.

Apart from that - nice bike!

I bet the Racing version kicks a**.

I tested them on a recently harvested wheat field. Awesome dirt and no hard hits so it was a favorauble enviroment for the suspension. I really liked the new chasis though. Felt at home right away and very easy to move around. Everyonoe semed to love the 390 the most.

Will do, suspension is being done at the moment. Also would love to see some moisture in the dirt to really get an idea on how it is but I do live in California so. Make it 🌧
