12/17/2023 5:04am A lot of people in this thread have it figured out already, but I'll throw in a few things: There is absolutely a break-in period for the full bike. Everything seats in, high spots are worn away from moving parts, bushings wear a bit, seals break in, etc., all over the bike. That's A LOT of parts and the rather small contribution of each part adds up quick to a significant difference in feel. This is what I believe most everyone is feeling when they say they prefer a broken in chassis vs. a new one. One thing that I...

8/27/2023 7:23pm 1. They can't pay him 2. The bike isn't SX ready and it's not even competitive in MXGP... 3. He'll be 30 next May, so his window is closing 4. He made enough money to pick a better bike and focus on results rather than a paycheck 5. He'll be more competitive on a "privateer" effort like MotoConcepts or HEP than on a Beta To sum it up, they can't pay him and can't give him a competitive bike, why would he sign there? Might as well retire if that's the only option...

2/4/2023 6:11am I have (3) rides at RT62MX indoor track on my 2023 CRF450R Works Edition. This track is in an unheated 320’x160’ building with lots of small jumps and bowled corners. While not like outdoor riding and hitting obstacles at high speed this indoor riding does require quick/predictable engine response and precise bike placement. My son (170 lbs B-rider) and I...

12/17/2022 4:45am Make sure your dealer installs the updated EFI map before you take your new TC125 home. Saw a new '23 TC125 the other weekend and it had the updated EFI map the owner of the bike put 2-hours on it and said the bike ran great in both maps. This TC125 was the standard model (gray) though the Heritage Editions...

10/24/2022 7:37pm For all you guys waiting for the 300SX it is going to be worth the wait. I've had my '23 KTM 300XC for a couple of weeks now and have ridden the bike in the woods, tight trails, fire roads, and light Vet (slow!) moto. This all new throttle body fuel injected 300cc engine never stops impressing me. The engine...

7/22/2022 5:45am Just wrapped up the show and i don't understand what all the fuss is about. Thats just DV. He's one of the few people that, when i disagree with him, i still like to hear his point of view. I like to understand his angle on things. And maybe, just maybe, i may see things in a different way that i may have never thought of. Maybe not. I thought it was a great show. No frills no hold bar show. On thing i always remember about DV. It was around 98-ish. We had the regional distribution for Engine Ice...

7/20/2022 7:00pm 1. If you invite me on the show, I won't be a "yes, sir" guy, sit down and bite my tongue for 5 hours. 2. I will give my take on topics no matter what. I don't have any ties to anyone in the industry so I have the privilege to say things as I see them. I'm completely ok if you don't have the same views as I do 3. I'm not on the market to buy any BS anyone is selling 4. Some people will like what I say and some will say I'm a dick. It goes...

7/5/2022 10:10am Thumbs down me all you like but the MX media desperately needs an infusion of new talent who actually take their job seriously. They've asked a total of 3 questions combined the past 2 post race 450 pressers. ET3 signed an SX only deal and his Dad all but confirmed this would be his final run at the nationals yet no one even bothered asking him to confirm or what led to the decision despite having the perfect opportunity at the hangtown, thunder valley, or High Point nationals. Can you imagine in any other sport where the biggest name in...

7/3/2022 6:43pm I weigh 195 lbs, the owner of the new 350SXF weighs 195 lbs and his son weighs 175 lbs. We all rode my '21 350XCF and the new 23 350SXF back to back and had similar feelings (we all liked the new engine). The new engine has noticeably more low to mid power feel (closer to a 450F than the...

7/3/2022 8:41am Got a chance to ride a new '23 KTM 350SXF back to back with my 2021 KTM 350 Kailub Russell Edition. The current 350SXF/XCF engine has a bog bore 250F feel to it with a quick revving nature and making it's best power from the upper mid range to top end. Many riders wanted more low end response from the...

7/1/2022 5:17am First ride tonight on the 23. The nice thing is I got to compare the bike against my fully mod 22 Husky 350 with a big bore. The 23 has much better throttle response and bottom end power. Even the mid might be a good bit stronger. I also have a 450 and to me this is much closer to the 450 then I expected. All and all very happy with the bike.

3/10/2022 5:10pm Ordered a couple of air cleaners (stock Twin Air) for my FE a couple of weeks ago from my KTM dealer, part number A46006015000. My understanding is Twin Air will have air box wash covers in about 2-weeks (no idea about part number for cover from KTM yet - just straight from Twin Air)....
