Something to keep in mind I always tell people to just get the XC-F or the FX, the off-road huskies are not 10mm lower only the MX bikes. You get the new awesome spring forks and you can put a SX tank on it for $120, and the 18" rear is fine for us mortals on an MX bike. A new 19" rear is going to be cheaper than spending money getting the air forks how you like them. There is no other difference in the engine, tuning, etc between the two.

I would guess its the 27FE and 28 standard. In the past the KTM team has been on the new FE's for the team photo shoots. They normally race the new generation as an FE model a year before they update the standard version. Standard Factory Riders bonuses ballpark: Per Race overall from bike manufacture: 100k - 50k - 25k. Some have MX moto win bonuses, like $10-$15k... Championships: $1M to $1.5M each. They might have the same bonues for each SMX races but I doubt the teams pay that high bonus for SMX championship or if they pay any actually. Not sure about gear bonuses, those vary a lot depending the contracts but nowhere close to manufacture bonuses... If your a vet guy just buy a 350XCF factory edition. The wider 6 speed trans is going to be better for a vet riding style anyways, the 18" rear will give you some more forgiveness in the rear. Just don't fill up the tank all the way if you are riding moto or buy the SXF tank for $100.
