Well there was plenty of cry when Deegan finished up 250sx so let's keep track of the numbers.

Just wanted to jump in and thank everyone for all the interest, feedback, questions, and support surrounding the MAX goggle. To be honest, the excitement and initial demand have even surprised us a bit. We knew people would be curious, but the response has been incredible and we appreciate it. We are currently anticipating a full re-stock in early June. The main goal with MAX was always improving rider safety. For years we have focused on protecting the head and brain through helmet tech, but the eye port was always one area of the helmet we could never truly protect...

Not playing basketball in these things, the sole is there for protection and designed to be used standing on sharp footpegs taking in a ridiculous amount of force distributed over a tiny patch

Sorry, should have been more specific. Any welt sole boot, including of course the 12s and the 22s, will not feel as cushy under the foot as a bonded PU sole boot like a Tech 7. They all have roughly the same construction, which you can see in this SG-12 cutaway: For reference I have cut open an SG-10, same...

It's wider than the SG12, and uses a different attachment method for the welt sole. It is less dome shaped, and the plastics at the perimeter of the forefoot are more vertical than sloped. That is what they mean by the "3D toebox". It accommodates wide feet better than the SG12. Here's a pic: HTH. BP

KTM neither bought for, invested in, nor lost 2 billion in MV Agusta. AFA the sales drop post COVID, the only industry person on the planet who did not see it coming was Pierer. And he still forced an irresponsible amount of overproduction. They went out because they spent too much, borrowed too much, and the banks started calling in...

Not even 3 races back, and he’s been messing up peoples laps in qualifying, ignoring blue flags. Tonight he took out Mitchell Harrison for 19th and when Harrison confronted him, Friese brought them back to the rig claiming they can “talk” there before deciding to charge and swing at Harrison. Not to mention, he took out Forkner on the first lap as well and cut Roczen off on the start in the heat race. While he did get a 5 point penalty, it simply isn’t enough, This piece of shit human, has injured and endangered the livelihood of riders his...

I was wearing a V2000 in 1983, that this stuff is even a discussion 43 years later blows my mind. Gloves that i wouldnt wear to ride a bicycle , and protection designed for 'comfortability' ( which isnt even a fucking word) rather than hitting the ground when thrown off a 60hp bike 20ft off the ground, just beggars belief. If they spent even 10% of the time and money they spew on helmet and bike graphics, we might have a better outcome. Like parachutes and guns, if you dont have one when you really need it, you probably wont...

Having spent an inordinate amount of time studying boot sizing.....Gaerne's do not technically run large, but their sizing is a little complicated. Size 12s are 12s, but size 11s are not 11s, they are closer to 11.5 than anything else. And shape is always an additional factor. I'd guess some of you are rolling your eyes, but there is a...

Kind of what I was wondering as well. There is a definite change in the newer 12’s vs my older pair. The narrower/more tapered toe area is instantly visible just looking at them, and more so when wearing them. Thank you all for the help. Much appreciated.

I can probably help, if you do this: remove the footbeds, put on the floor, stand on them in the correct location*, and LMK where your toes fall in relation to the perforations on the footbed. Better yet, post a pic here. *your feet will hang off the sides of the footbeds. Disregard this, that happens with everyone regardless of...

Companies today often utilize a market based instead of a cost based pricing scheme. In cost based pricing, your selling price is based on the cost to build your product. In market based pricing, you essentially charge as much as you can get away with. If a KTM is regarded as a premium product, then regardless of where it is made or what cost savings they achieve, they'll still charge as much as the market allows.
