Correct. The “go where you can afford” mentality actually is more accurately “can’t afford to go” as well. Sure I can move out to rural Mississippi but then what? Work at Hardee’s? Or maybe we could all move 45 minutes outside of civilization. You know, all our families need is a roof and food. The most important thing isn’t a present father or anything😂

2 words: Family Money. I'm 33 and I make decent money. I have friends who live on Golf courses, own 100,000$ plus boats, drive expensive trucks, they all have one thing in common. They got put on by their parents or in-laws.

really the problem is all of the other stuff. Sure I can take a $20 increase on a clutch but it’s the $100,000-$300,000 increase on the house that’s got me and everyone else my age in a fit. don’t get me started on the price of cars. it’s a big picture thing.

I'm trying to stop thinking about it and being so negative about it. I should be happy the roof over my head that I rent cost twice as much as 7 years ago because we had a Hurricane that flooded all the rentals.

This is the same reason I got into EMTBs...MX injuries. I rode MTBs for years, but emtbs are a friggin blast on a different level. I don't ride them for any kind of excercise, I ride them for fun. Anyone who has never tried an emtb, I highly recommend it.
