One of the other threads inspired me ya might say. Quite a few guys mentioned dropping weight. Some even mentioned significant amounts. I’m thinking we have a friendly weight loss competition for bragging rights. I dropped about 40 pounds last year but needed to loose 60. Big guys can carry a lot of weight lol. I’m about 6’1” now, was 6’2” in high school but back surgery and age has shrunk me. I’ll be 70 in March, but I don’t feel like it! Was down to 205 but back up to 220 the other day. I noticed my weight gain...

This old vet dude snagged a new 350 RX- 1st time Beta owner. Very fun motorcycle. Super light feeling on the track... Turns as good or better than an RM 250. Great roll on, decent over-rev. I'm at sea level so I'll play with the jetting soon... MXA says leaning it out makes a good bit of difference- But runs dang strong as is. I put a heavier spring on the rear..likley needs fronts too. No regrets here!

Since the chassis are identical across the 2025-2026 Beta 2 strokes, I thought I would give an update on how I have been making out with my new 2025 300 RX now that I have much more time on it. I am an aging vet rider and getting slower every year with 57 years of riding mx. I switch off the Beta with a CRF450 once in a while.. the 450 is certainly better for racing, but the Beta 2T is way more fun now that I got a few things worked out. Good lord, not everything is a conspiracy or plot of some kind, especially dirt bike shootouts. Save the pay off cabal theories for non moto. It's just opinions on scooters boys.

Congrats on the new bike! One of my mates races one in the vet class at our local track and it's fast! I would say they look better in real life than photo's as well. I cannot get onboard with the cybertruck though, regardless of any technology/performance that's one of the jankiest looking contraptions ever produced.

I raced the local 30b class on my 450rx and the 40 open class on my 300rx a couple of weeks ago. 3 moto format over 2 days was pretty fun. Even Ronnie Mac made some laps with us out there. I feel faster on the 300 but actually ran better lap times on my 450. Finished 2nd OA in both classes but I can assure you the bike isn't the problem. It was me. At 49 years old I'm ok not winning as much anymore but dang it I really wanted to beat those "kids" in the 30 class!
