Don't go the stark, everyone I know including myself that had one as a main bike has eventually gone back to real bikes. Yes they may be ok as a second bike but as your main bike definitely stick with a real bike.

A couple years after having my 350, I thought maybe I need to go back to a 450. Rode my buddies new Kawi 450 and I couldn't believe how heavy it felt. Different strokes for different folks. I would sooner go down to a 250 than go up to a 450.

I think the biggest 2 things I noticed were power and steering precision. The 23+ motor really is like a mini 450 rather than a bigger 250, which is more what I felt the 22 and earlier were like. It does still love being revved but you can definitely get away with short shifting and lugging it to a degree...

I know you didn't directly ask me but I've had a 13,19,22,23 and 25 350sxf. Excluding the 13 I feel the biggest jump was from the 22 to 23. The only part were some feel it took a step backwards is the stiffer frame, some feel this I personally don't unless im riding a concrete hard track. In 25 they...

I constantly think I want another 450 but then everytime I ride my 350 I'm reminded otherwise. Think I need to just have a 450 in the shed so everytime i ride it, it can remind me I don't need one ha ha. I actually went the other way and picked up a new 250f, that might actually be even...

Nah I had a tf450rc and if they made there 350 along the same line as there 450 I don't think it would be that great. Both yamaha 250f and ktm 350 have a very quick revving lively motor, the triumph is far from that.

This would be the most sold bike hands down. I own a 25 350sxf and a 27 yz250f, if these 2 bikes had a baby it could possibly be the greatest bike ever made. But sadly I think this may never happen.

Do you favour power or handling and are you a revver or a lugger? I have owned many 350's and 450's and no 450 will ever handle as nice as a 350. I prefer handling over everything else so always prefer the 350. That's not in anyway saying the 350 doesn't have the power. I'm 220lbs, vet B, and ride...

For anyone interested, I have 2hrs on my 27 yz250f now and I'm pretty impressed. Bike is still completely stock and it is surprisingly good for someone of my size. It will definitely need heavier springs but it is still very rideable and fun even with the stock stuff. Motor isn't a rocket off the bottom but definitely not bad...

Yeah I'm sure I'll love it, I'm not getting rid of my 350 or my 250sx so I reckon it will just be about picking the tracks it works best on and riding it there. I am definitely hoping it has a more comfortable chassis feel on hard chop than the ktm. If it's really good in that area I...

Well I've decided to give the 250f a go, pick up my 27 yz250f on Friday. Wanted a monster edition but they won't be available till end of the month. Dealer has a blue model in the shop and I've got a few good rides over the next couple of wknds so thought I'd get that. I'll report back after...

i have a 2025 ktm350SXF and a 2026 yz450F. Bump touch on the KTM is good and bad. You feel everything and have great control to change direction and miss the bumps. But...if you hit a smaller bump on the Yamaha it just drives through with less feedback. The chassis soaks everything up better than a KTM. You feel every little bump on the KTM. Some like that feel. How's that?

Awesome thankyou, that's exactly the feedback I'm after. I also have a 25 350sxf and it is my favourite bike by far, but after riding a few concrete hard tracks I'm getting more feedback into my hands than I'd like. I like the idea of a more forgivin 2nd bike I can ride at hardpack tracks and this new yamy...

I'm very close to pulling the pin on one of these. Does anyone have any feedback on how the Yamaha's feels compared to the Austrian bikes when it comes to bump touch and comfort feel in the hands on harder pack tracks?

I had a 23 300sx and 23 350sxf, now have a 25 250sx and 25 350sxf. For me there is zero question which one handles better when the track gets rough and that is the 350 by a long way. More planted, more stable and alot more confidence inspiring. Only thing the 2 stroke does better is turn a little...

I think the the 23+ 350's are awesome with the stock engine, but add a vortex and they are better again, go a step further and add a dual injector and they are next level. I never use 2nd gear in any corner ever, 3rd/4th everywhere. The 350 is such a quick free revving engine that a quick stab of...
