Factory Edition KTM announcement is November 18th. KX450 is November 23rd.

I think the KTMs will be announced with the next week or so from what i heard. I Know its a new frame and some pretty big updates and the rumor is some form of Electric valving in the suspension.

10/28/2026 7:35pm Might have to wait a long time for one of them, first 2 at my dealer are already spoken for. Said he should have standard model available in December. Or if I want ktm factory edition get my name on one now, will no more about timing towards end of the year. It's a bloody hard choice 🤦♂️

10/25/2026 10:57pm I am about the same weight and have a 27 model, it's an updated model but i believe they still have the same spring rates. I went up from 54nm to 56nm in the rear and put one 5.0nm in one side of the forks and im pretty happy with that. I will probably put both 5.0's in the forks...

And I also found that horsepower level only had an effect on battery usage when I would drop the power down to a level where it was...

Absolutely, your mileage may vary. It's hard to extrapolate the range you'd get from other riders, it depends so much on terrain, speed and riding style, it can wildly swing. Honda and Yamaha prototypes appear to have smaller batteries, don't know if they're conceived for quick swaps but that's the way newcomers like Bonnell or Dust are going, under 1 min swap.

10/3/2026 11:37am Battery tech and electronic tech in general. Not only does the current battery tech lack the capacity to match gas bikes but when pushed hard they run hot and derate to stop failure.

10/3/2026 11:32am No pro will ever be able to do a 30 minute outdoor moto on an electric bike in any of our lifetime. I'm a fat old vet and can flatten a stark battery in 20 mins on a sand track. Solid state batteries is the next big thing and they are talking a 50% gain on lithion ion at best...

9/14/2026 4:07pm Don't go the stark, everyone I know including myself that had one as a main bike has eventually gone back to real bikes. Yes they may be ok as a second bike but as your main bike definitely stick with a real bike.
