10/26/2025 7:47pm I never did the maths but my thoughts were always the rake would have more of an effect than offset. Your maths agrees. Think I'd still rather spend the money on triple clamps than the overpriced cups. Surely someone else will produce something similar at a reasonable price.

I'm not saying people don't have issues with the tbi bikes or any bikes for that matter. But I do believe the issues are blown up to be alot more than they really are...

10/24/2025 9:02am Can speak on a 23 300sx and 25 150sx, no way did they need a vortex or anything done with the tuning. Both of them ran better than my 17 150sx and 22 yz250.

I can't say anything about the SX300. Had a YZ250 turned into a YZ300 What I can say is the SX250 revves really good, I can't complain about a lacking top end. Could use a little more bottom end maybe. After the first rides I was a bit disappointed and thought maybe I should've taken a 300, but after some time on the bike the 250 is definitly right! Absolutly loved it last weekend! Playful, fast, great traction, all with a good dose of 2-stroke power, fast revving, really good! Right now PC pipe and a short HGS silencer. Waiting...

I do love my '24 KTM, but this certainly makes me wonder about future bikes. Time will tell. (Dear Japanese manufacturers, one of you please make a competitive 350.)

Is the 25/26 kx450 much different from the 24? I’ve ridden my buddies 24 kx450 a bunch and I’m a little lost at the idea that it’s slow. I own a 24 yz450 and my preferred map is the “hard hitting” map, so coming off my bike and riding his kx450 you’d think according to the bikes reputation it would be a huge difference. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very noticeable difference between the two, but just because it’s noticeable doesn’t mean the kx is slow. That bike absolutely fucking rips! I have the Luxon knuckle and link on my 23 350SXF. It’s been a while since I installed it so I’m fuzzy on the A to B comparison but I do remember it making the rear feel more stable accelerating out of corners and it helped with bottoming resistance. I backed off my high speed compression about 1/4 turn when I installed it.
