I go to the one in Ocoee sometimes. I wish it was closer. It’s crazy how many public skateparks and pump tracks there are nowadays compared to 20+ years ago. Edit: took me 5 tries to upload a pic from my phone. Hopefully only 1 shows up.

Pump tracks are awesome and probably the best workout I’ve ever found. Seriously, do a few laps on a decent sized pump track and you’ll be smoked. If they’re built right there can be a ton of different rhythm options to do combining doubling, manuals, rollers, all sorts of different combos to keep it fun. Not to mention you can do some pretty fun transfers from lane to lane depending on design.

I think they are way better on a DJ bike rather than a 20" BMX too, the 20" bikes seem so small after years of MX and mountain bike riding. Never have switched, and don't even think about it. My brain has 2 different channels, motorcycle and bicycle. I can go back and forth all day and never get even the slightest bit confused. Don't know why but it's not even a slight issue for me. I have MTB buddies that switch them, I make a note to NEVER ride their bikes 🤪like... ever. It'd be a guaranteed crash 😄

I don't know how much the broadcast showed him, but I was there today. I watched Eli like a hawk in qualifying, heats, main. The track looked amazing all the way through qualifying #2, but it was progressively drying out. Eli didn't look as fast in the heat as in qualifying but the track wasn't absolutely gone yet. But the sun came out for an hour plus and after the 250 main in particular you could see the track was so shiny and baked—it was 100% incompatible with a scoop tire.
