the story line behind both riders for this championship title fight is pure cinema.

I dont dislike hunter at all… but all the emotion is with kenny… so since bambam is back, i hope he bambams hunta for whatever reason  at the final round and kenny cruises to the title.

I’ll add that both of these dudes are deserving of the title and both even have an underdog story. It’s just that Roczen is the underdog of the underdog in this scenario. Crazy that this title has ended up between these two because you’d love to see either of them win!

What a ridiculous thing to root for. Great championship fight between them to want another guy to stick his nose iin. Why, do you think Kenny can't get it done himself? He probably doesn't deserve it then

I’ll be happy with either, may the best man win.
Although after such an awesome series, I just hope that the AMA isn’t the difference.

Nearly the same layout and dirt as tonight.

A racing incident is very different to an off track decision.

True, but now that we're within one point, this will be significant.

Even Kenny said after the race in Seattle that he knew Hunter didn't race like that intentionally. But this could loom large.

I went in to this weekend thinking Kenny had the edge…. Now I think Hunter has taken it back.

Hoping it’s Ken, thinking now it will probably be Hunter.

Yeah, they’re pretty similar but SLC is closer to sea level.

Ken can beat Hunter on a dry hardpack track as he did at glendale. Passed him for the lead and then took off. But I think Hunter has the momentum going for him now and Im leaning towards him for the title. Im just glad Kenny is even in the position he is in right now. The title would be the icing on the cake but seeing him battling for a 450 sx title is never what I thought would happen again.

Hunta. He's clearly faster on tracks that hard pack.

10yr effort?? Do you even have a clue how many years Hunta has been on this mission? No, he didnt ride all the US minibike stuff that Kenny has done, he foot slogged it in Europe.

Stupid yanks never look past yer noses.

All he was saying was Roczen has been trying for this title for 10 years, albeit he’s slightly off it’s actually his 13th go at this championship.

For comparison that’s 10 more years than Hunter.

You do realize Kenny was in Europe to begin with as well right?  So not sure why the poor Hunter was slogging it in Europe take.

Go back to your penis colony.  Kenny has been racing 450 sx since 2013, and that's what TropicPilot was referring to.  It's actually been more than 10 years, but you get the point.

Kenny almost lost his arm after a crash and then broke the other arm a year later. He then spent half a decade regaining his race form.  Yank or not, incredible to see and I hope he wins.

Sure, but the incident in question had absolutely zero impact on that race. Nobody caught Hunter because of it and all three guys in that pack jumped it, so no advantage was gained on anyone else either.

Would be a shame if anyone tries to use that as a complaint if Ken pulls it off.

Like others have said, want Kenny but probably Hunter.

One thing is certain for SLC. If Hunter is ahead of Kenny late in the race we will most likely witness the hardest charge from Kenny that we have ever seen. Tonight it seemed Kenny realized the win tonight wasn’t necessary and he can control his own destiny at the last round.
My heart is with Kenny for the title but I’m happy we have a winner take all for SLC. We would not have had that if KR won tonight. Great for us fans

Kenny is German, did the whole Loretta thing on minibikes, nurtured by Coombs, then home for a wc tilt.

The Lawrences litterally sold up everything and burnt the boats leaving Aus to race minis in europe 14 yrs ago, and to be the best in the world now. I know because I knocked back a opportunity to sponsor them in 2012.

listen listen listen ….. cause I see this thread boutta go off rails , as I said in a thread last week we all kno wht went on with Kenny & his arm , multi surgeries with the danger of his arm getting amputated, he’s bless to even continue riding a dirt bike let alone still competing at a elite lvl & hunter , he talked about this numerous times where he kept getting hurt in his early days & mentally he wanted to retire early , if it wasent for Jett & their father , us fans wouldn’t even see hunter on a 450 right now , so in my eyes , both Kenny & hunter are more than deserving & has a great story to tell of winning their 1st 450 SX title , may the best racer win

We get it your from Australia and have a blood oath to the Lawrence’s. How dare those stupid yanks even possibly compare roczens path to my Lawrences, how dare they.
