Its a 2005 yz250, just 156 hours on it now, it’ll get torn down to the frame at 160. (I do that every 40 hours) I ride a 2016 YZ125 as well , it probably has 250+ hours, it was someone’s serious race bike before I bought it

Decided to join in on the KX450 fun. “Let the good times roll”. At $7,000 shipped to my house, it was a deal too good to pass up. Fit and finish on the bike is really good and I didn’t notice anything concerning while performing new bike prep work. Super excited to get it out on the track to see how it performs. I’m generally a 125 rider, so the softer/smoother power should suit me well.

lol 😂 that post made me laugh. Yeah I keep an eye on it because I’ve had them leak before. It’s not a huge deal if it’s just seeeping out but I do some long NGPC’s & even longer motos. This topic is making me laugh at myself because I absolutely consider myself a Honda guy, always have and always will….Yet I haven’t owned a Honda for myself since 2012 😳. I run a fairly large motocross series. The worst thing that has happened all year is a Stacyc collision with a rider coming off the track. The child was out cold for several minutes and a very scary situation. Time and place, and running around the pits of a busy race track isn't the time or place.

That second argument is so weak "No one ever got hurt doing this before, so it must be safe." That doesn't hold up in risk assessment or any safety discussions. "I havent worn a seatbelt in 40 years and nothing's ever happened to me, so there's no need for one." lmao

Or you know take another look at the track design and keep the tree but route the track away from it more? You know it might take $2,500 or so from the cash grab of this race to slightly change the track but I’m sure they will still be able to put food on their families tables…

It's not so much about having the latest and greatest for me as much as it is moving on before its time for a serious overhaul. I keep up my machines but for the time and cost especially on the 4 strokes to put in higher hour maintenance its better for me to sell and put the money towards a newer machine. I know i lose money this way but I figure im going to lose it anyways.

Just picked up this 2025 300RX, looking forward to breaking it in at Glen Helen on Thursday. Hopefully I can get used to the 2 strokes again after being on 4 strokes for so long.

I just picked up my new 2025 300 RX yesterday, but havent had a chance to get it dirty yet. The 2026's are already available in Italy/ Europe and their price list for Europe is set. Seems it will be a few more months before the US gets the 2026's

I picked up a TM MX112 supermini for my son last week. I decided I didn’t want the hassle or expense to build a full-blown supermini from scratch so I decided to see what the Italian steed was all about. First week on it and he likes it a lot better than his outgoing Austrian ride. Thought some of you 2-Smoke fanatics would dig it.

You are right ,if we are serious there is no need for more Power than 300cc. I can tell from my experience , i own a few Midsize and Bigbore Twostroke 21 TC 300, a 97 SX 360, a 98 SX 380, a 90 MX 500. and a 88 MX 550 The biggest difference between my 300 and 360 is not the topend power its very similar , but the 360 Engine is much stronger down low that is the big improvement over the 300 and makes it much easier to ride
