After my injury I sold my Ktm 450 and went to a yz250f for the sake of an easier bike to control. I started racing again a year ago and I’m still on the same bike. A lot of fun riding something different and very rewarding when you’re fast on a smaller bike.

Forgot about this one too😂 2001 YZ250 low hr original that I built to honor Jimmy Button Pj1 Extreme team. Only 2hrs on it this year, but will go up now that I have the forks and front brake situated …Very impressed with motor, just a head and jetting with PC pipe & silencer…. Bike rips!

My 2005 Yz125, that I bought new in 2004, with suspension upgrade to SSS forks and a newer gen shock, has approximately 1 Zillion hours. Approximately. Original bottom end with no vertical play in the connecting rod, and the original clutch. I just try to always be in the right gear, so I'm easy on clutches. I did finally buy an hour meter, so I'll track hours from here, or save it for my next bike.

2005 Yz125 with 2012 SSS forks, 2009 Shock. I've ridden quite a bit. I bought it new in 2004. I have no idea how many hours. The bottom end is still solid, original plastics, original clutch, original wheels.

2022 yz125 probably 70 hours did a top end 30 hours ago and just did fork rebuild. Shock probably needs a rebuild now.

Its a 2005 yz250, just 156 hours on it now, it’ll get torn down to the frame at 160. (I do that every 40 hours) I ride a 2016 YZ125 as well , it probably has 250+ hours, it was someone’s serious race bike before I bought it

Yep, either Jay Clark, or the OG , Brian Fleck (who i learned the technique from). Two spoons, a bead buddy, and tire paste, if you’re not doing it like those guys, you’re doing it wrong

Its pretty common knowledge (especially in road racing circles) that once you’ve had one concussion its easier to get more. Although I’m not a fan, i hope JB23 heals his head and stays off the ground.

Of course, I had to ask it our favorite question: where does motocross rank in terms of how physically demanding it is? Here is the report: When you consider cardio, strength, and skill, motocross belongs at the very top of the list of demanding sports—right up there with XC skiing, 2k rowing, MMA/boxing, and water polo.
