Even has a Keihin instead of that bloody Mikuni. Gobless
Ill be getting one as soon as I can. Brilliant. Hopefully it's geared for s top speed close to a stock 450. Every guy over 200lbs should consider this bike if they are shopping 2t
I own both and the beta has quite a bit more.
Nah man.
Beta is 300rx is roughly 40 hp
Ktm 300sx is roughly 50
Source is dirtriders dyno.

I rode my first 2-stroke in about 15yrs last week. '22 Husky TC250 with a 300 cylinder on it. I couldn't believe how light it felt. Like I was riding a bicycle. 350 2-stroke sounds incredible
Thats mega!
No rumors- just dropping a bigbore 2stroke out of nowhere.
Bad for KTMs sales
Thats 2 year old data. That’s on the 2023 model. If you read the current articles, Beta updated the bike big the time in 24 and in 25 by changing cylinder head, cylinder porting, ignition timing maps all increasing power drastically since the year one model. Ill follow that and the fact I own both side by side before a dyno test that was two years ago on a bike that was 2 platforms ago haha.
I agree. We have all 3 in the shop right now. The '25 300rx has way more power than the '23RX does. The '25RX will beat my '23 300sx in a flat out drag on the road.
I am curious on how it will run. Sounds sweet, but to be honest I never have thought I needed more than what my 300cc has to offer.
Stand corrected. I can't wait to hear some reviews. After going back to yzs and xcs I love more 2 stroke options because I can't see myself going back to a 4 stroke!
That Beta 350 will be an Interesting Bike.
Have a old 1997 KTM SX 360 with 78 Bore and 74 Stroke its an almost Perfect Twostroke Engine
KTM is also testing a Big Twostroke in the Austrian Championship in the 360cc- 380cc Range
So would the bore tell us that it’s (the 350) a stand alone engine, not based on the 250?
I can not say if the Beta 350 is based on the 250 Engine ??
In Case of the old KTMs 1990-1998 the 250-300-360 and 380 546/547 Engine shared the same Engine Cases .
Except the different Crank and Cylinder
I would guess it is based on the 250/300 cases.
You are right ,if we are serious there is no need for more Power than 300cc.
I can tell from my experience , i own a few Midsize and Bigbore Twostroke
21 TC 300, a 97 SX 360, a 98 SX 380, a 90 MX 500. and a 88 MX 550
The biggest difference between my 300 and 360 is not the topend power its very similar ,
but the 360 Engine is much stronger down low that is the big improvement over the 300 and makes it much easier to ride
burn1986 : what's this obsession with "Stand Alone Engine"?
In truth, it's rare to have an engine module, that is 'Stand Alone". Taking that term, as being one, and one only capacity version of said base unit.
And, you get , at times, engine modules that cover a wide variety of capacities - the RH drive KTM 350s through to the 540 being a fairly well known one. A lot of manufacturers used the same 'base' unit for , at times, quite big variations in capacities.
Heck, even now, in the continuing era of 'minimalism' of cases / engine dimensions overall, the KTM 250 / 350 4ts share the same base cases - though, with I'm sure, different machining.
We don't know what really is the difference with the new Beta 250 and 350 RX 2ts - at least one article I've read, say they are different to the current 250 /300 base cases (but share the new cases with each other), but, who the hell knows the reality of it, right now, other than Beta?
Someone above wrote that the new 350 has just dropped out of thin air - no, it was shown last year, at EICMA - more than 6 months ago. A bit ( well, hugely) quicker than other current announcements and 'rumours' about a new Kawasaki 2t to come ( and I really hope it, a New Kawasaki, is Not 'vapourware', as the Kids say) .
We've got a new, modern take on a Large(r) capacity 2 stroke - That, is just So Bloody Wonderful. And, I hope Beta reap the rewards for doing such a thing.
And, that other, far bigger manufacturers, pull their bloody fingers out, and try something other than just the bigger piston route.
I've said for years now - and you , burn1986, might remember this from my postings long ago on the TwoStrokeMotocross site, (and, here, and elswhere) that I think a modern 350 / 400 / 450 - anything inbetween - 2 stroke, could, Would, be a wonderful thing. And, this is Not coming from a Two Stroke Tragic - I've had, and made, far more 4ts than 2 strokes in my 65 years - I love Bikes, in general.
There shall be a lot of new "I spoke with my wallet" posts when this drops. I'm so excited to get my hands on it! Hopefully no 1st year issues. But I doubt I can wait for year 2 or 3.
Pit Row
Can’t wait to see some reviews! Anyone know when these will start being available? Off-road version with bigger tank & headlight to follow?
FYI, there will be no RX300.
There’s a few on YT from last week in Italy, they are dubbed but you get the info.
I just bought a 25 300RX, I asked the dealer about the 350 and they told me September and they’d have to order it. I thought someone else on Vital said they were or worked at a dealership and they ordered 7, maybe they’ll chime in with a better idea of when they’ll be available.
I just picked up my new 2025 300 RX yesterday, but havent had a chance to get it dirty yet. The 2026's are already available in Italy/ Europe and their price list for Europe is set. Seems it will be a few more months before the US gets the 2026's
Who downvoted this? The ghost of Soichoro Honda perhaps.
ETown tomorrow!
I’ll bring my WR300 😉
Neville Bradshaw has got his hands on a 350RX 2 stroke - good choice from Beta, if it's directly from them / the Brit importer.
He's still a High Level rider, and, quite a 2 stroke enthusiast : riding / racing all sorts, especially 500s.
This appears that it might be the start of a series of videos about his racing the 350 :
Sound quality is so bad on this. A very interesting bike, and one of the first guys to review it and yet he had no thought of people being able to hear what he says. 😏
wow! Bike looks amazing. Congrats and keep us updated with your review!
Nev rips! He just posted this from his first weekend, he loves the bike. Said it handles good and is very capable out the box
Front fender looks orange. What’s a “fuel pipe”? I seriously think he loaded the wrong video - It looks and sounds like a KTM 125.
Post a reply to: Beta RX350 2 Stroke!
