9/4/2025 12:48pm You're acting like he took this big gamble, and he was hard done by. He signed a multi million three year deal. Injuries happen, crashes happen, I'd never hold that against a guy. What people will remember though is him giving up mid moto several times, while insinuating that he should and would be winning on another bike. It will also be remembered that he deliberately tried to not qualify for the last round of the season, which is about as unacceptable as it gets.

9/4/2025 12:48pm Sure, there are always two sides to every situation. And sure, Kawasaki may not have done EVERYTHING they could to make Jorge happy. But the bottom line is, they don't have to! Kawasaki employs Jorge, not the other way around. He blatantly gave very little effort and did not comply with the contract he entered into with his employer. It's...

9/4/2025 11:56am So what you’re saying is you do care? These comments are hilarious because what I think you mean is, “I couldn’t care less…” but English hard.

9/4/2025 11:41am Poor kid? This is entirely self-inflicted and then completely lacked accountability. The performance of the bike is irrelevant at this point, the totality of his behavior, culminating in a blatant attempt to not qualify at Budds, is inexcusable. Even if the "poor kid" comes out on a KTM and leads the championship next year, he has done irreversible damage to his reputation. Sometimes there really is a point of no return on these things. I wanted to like him when he came over, but he's an arrogant and entitled prima donna, period.

9/4/2025 10:04am News here from Kawasaki Racing: " Following his first Pro Motocross Championship campaign and placing sixth overall, Jorge Prado and Kawasaki mutually decided that he will not participate in the upcoming SuperMotocross Playoff rounds. Monster Energy Kawasaki will attend Charlotte this weekend in support of Kawasaki Team Green riders Enzo Temmerman and Vincent Wey as they compete in the SMX Next World All-Stars Class in Charlotte and St. Louis."

9/4/2025 5:35am I did a lot of troubleshooting with mine before getting them in a good spot. Currently back on stock springs with 370ml oil. 14 out on compression 9 out on rebound. Slowing the rebound the last few clicks to 9 from 12 seems to have me in a sweet spot. I’ve raced 3 weekends in a row with this setting now and it’s night and day over stock, mainly with oil height I think. I was bottoming with the stock 315, went to 350….still was bottoming on landings I shouldn’t have been…went to 370, and it’s great right now, might...

9/4/2025 5:35am Only clicker adjustments to the rear shock. I’m using the “Keefer Inc Testing” baseline setting, which is stiffer on all circuits vs the stock settings. 1.25 out on HSC, 10 out on LSC, 12 out on rebound, 104mm sag. The link below should take you to Keefer’s website where this 2025 baseline setting is found. https://www.keeferinctesting.com/2025-450-mx-baseline-suspension-settin…

9/4/2025 5:35am My first 24 I put a full pc , ecu , 1 tooth up, airbox cut up and the optional engine mounts. Loved it until I rode my unmolested 24. The complete stock bike felt phenomenal.(I do have kyb on it ) Eventually I cut the airbox and removed the baffles out of the stock exhaust, still love it. I’m 240 and go fairly decent and can run 3rd in most corners. I will say in third it is a tad bit slow to rev up. Now I’m wondering if an exhaust would help. Spent the weekend trying each xpr...

9/4/2025 5:35am Wanted to update my post with new settings…. My bike felt amazing on a softer track with a deeper sandy base and that’s why I made my original post. It worked amazing. But yesterday, while riding a track with a harder base and some pot holes exiting the corners, it felt too stiff on the forks and shock. I ended up softening my setup front and rear and really got it working great. It’s nice to see the bike react in a positive way with just a few clicks. New settings for a more hard packed track base: Fork comp...

9/4/2025 5:26am I was at first indifferent, then I kept reading the thread and saw all the replies from people who could have more easily moved onto a different thread but instead chose to take their jabs at someone who hasn't resigned himself to 40 years of working for the man like they did, so I made a venmo account and a donation. Chase the dream as long as you want. You'll get to tell your grandkids about it someday.

9/4/2025 5:22am Great information I appreciate it. I almost hate to say this because it is such a squid thing to say, but I worry that I will be unsatisfied with the power or overall quality of the bike if I were to get a KX250. This kind of money on a brand new bike is a big purchase for me, and I want to make sure I don’t regret it. Although in all honesty, there is no way I could use all the power of any of the new 250’s. lol. They are definitely the best deal going in my area...

9/4/2025 5:21am For sure, perception is reality. I was going on my experience with Yamahas, but of course I ride a 2-stroke. Stone cold reliable for 18 years on my old YZ250 and so far no problems with my '24. Also, don't confuse the engine failures that the race team has been having with the brand's reliability for showroom models. That said, I don't have any idea how unreliable the 4-valve thumpers are, as I've never owned one. Suzukis are great bikes. If you saw the attention to testing they give, you'd be impressed. (I was fortunate enough to visit their testing...
