RealityCheck Liked a reply to forum topic Hunter Brothers, Who You Got ?
8/28/2026 5:58am In my heart, I want Hunter to win, but I'm pretty happy that the winner will be either Jett or Hunter, regardless. I felt the same way about the outcome of last year's SX. It's hard to root against guys like Roczen and the Lawrence brothers. Who will take the MX championship? Too close to call. There was a time when Jett seemed unbeatable, but I think Hunter is a bit faster now. Hunter does seem to be more prone to bad luck, though. Watching the last few nationals was really stressful, but watching Deegan get beaten repeatedly made it...

Smith246 Liked a reply to forum topic Would you rather ride a 250f fast, or a 450 slow and smooth?
8/25/2026 6:31am 350, can ride it both ways 👍 But I can't decide which way to go as my 2nd bike. 250f to help with the aggressive side or 450 to help with the smooth side. Might just have to have all 3.

8/25/2026 6:15am I was not a Cooper Webb fan at all, but when all the other riders were making excuses to not go, Webb stepped up to 450 and raced anyway , made them all look stupid, he got the memo about why you never say no. Then again he steps up to ride the 250 at Matterley Basin, having not ridden one for 6(?) years. You dont forget stuff like that.

Disclaimer-my last 250 2-stroke was an 02 CR250 with milled head/TMR ported cylinder/etc, so no experience on the modern 250s from team blue/orange/etc. That said, I’d say the 350 is extremely similar to a 250 2-stroke in terms of riding style (2nd gear in turns, 3rd on the exits, likes to be ridden aggressively)…except that unlike a 250 2-stroke, it has almost unlimited rev like a 250 4-stroke, and some of the torque of a 450 4-stroke (to a point). It’s not an automatic like a 450, but it has a much more forgiving power spread than a 2-stroke with...

Have had a 21 FC 350, 23 MC 350 (old gen) and currently a 25 FC 350 heritage. The new gen bike is better in every aspect than the previous one. Done racing and back to a professional practice rider so this one will be around for a long while. Love the 350s. Went back to a 450 for a bit, only lasted a few weeks before I traded it in and bought the 25

I loved my 2021 350SXF and was so nervous to get a new gen frame model because of all the reports. I picked up my 2025 and it is so much better than the 21 and felt stupid for being worried about the new chassis. Is it soft and supple, nope, but it’s a MX bike, it’s precise, flies straight and corners amazing for me… The motor is much stronger than the last gen as well, I felt the last gen a TD or XPR Vortex ecu was necessary but you will be fine without the vortex on the current...

CR500. Sorry, thought that was the correct answer to any “what bike?” post…😂 I joined team 350 this year (new leftover 25 350SXF). I absolutely LOVE this bike. I was on 250 2-strokes until 4-strokes took over, then 450s ever since. I swore I would never ride anything but a 450, particularly at 230lbs. However, I found a deal too good to pass up on the 350 and figured it would be easy to sell if I didn’t like it. My first couple rides were tough until I took my man pill and admitted that all the 450s had made...

I went to a 350 for the same reasons as you, I was tired of shifting so much on my 250, but I also wanted a free feeling 4 stroke, I always feel the 250’s are wound so tight! I don’t know where you live but I’d sell you my low hour (have to check but 10 hours or less) 2025 Husky FX350 for a song and dance. Phenomenal machine but I have other bikes and not enough time to ride them all so this one can go.

8/19/2026 5:19am I dunno… When a guy can be a 9-5 Regular Joe & go out and race with this crowd, he may have an entirely different perspective than the average fan. He might even have a sarcastic view of the “factory rider” life and be a bit annoyed at some of the whining he hears and sees. With that taken into account, I can see where he’s coming from. I don’t need to agree with it, but it’s interesting to hear.

8/12/2026 8:56am I actually owned a stark for 12 months and it's the bike I'm the most happy I've ever sold ha ha. At first it was a blast to ride, but battery life was so bad it just got annoying. And to be honest after awhile it just felt soul less and boring to ride. Battery technology has a long long way to go before I'd ever consider them again.

8/10/2026 1:12pm Just turned 70 and not at all down hill. Have 4 bikes and get to the track a couple of times a year on my 2stroke. Retirement is awesome. There is a lot to look forward to for motocrossers in their youth - my first race was at 16 as soon as I could drive myself to the track. Change your poll to "70 Plus - can't wait to ride this week".

8/6/2026 6:31am Good advice so far from current owners regarding TwinAir filters, removing the internal exhaust screens, Loctite, and keeping an eye on steering stem bearings. I'll add a couple tidbits from my ownership as well. The steering stem bearings last significantly longer if you seal up the frames' inner head-tube: I clean all the grease out first, cut a fork sticker to fit between the races/surrounding the frame walls, and then reassemble with a liberal amount of Maxima/Motorex/BelRay grease. I've found that the lower bearing wear/notching isn't a result of washing, rather moisture in the frame itself. Mapping is free to...
