Has any journalist ever asked Feld "Why do the riders have to pay an entry fee?" They are the reason you're selling tickets and have a TV package. What do the entry fees go toward? Also bikes are way too expensive. New 450 $10K? Add in exhaust, graphics, suspension, plus expensive gear, travel, entry fees. To- 20 in 450 SX should make 200K year. Top 20 in 250 SX should make 100K. Not breaking even to make a main event is laughable.

Maybe they should stop making the riders pay $250 to enter each race. That is $4,250 for a 450 class rider to do all 17 races. Instead of charging the riders to race, how about paying them? Pay every rider except maybe the top 10 in points $500 to sign up and try to qualify? At least they will know a small portion of their expenses will be paid. Of course, this is only open to qualified pros. And, the last chance qualifier needs to pay a lot more.

This was a small step down from what he did with Jo in Vegas. Slowed up, head was on a spindle constantly looking back, let Levi pass, and tried to knock him down multiple times. Only difference was he didn’t make hard contact with Levi like he did with Jo. It was whatever to me, just normal behavior for Haiden. But to address OP’s post title: I’m confused why anyone would watch this race and change their opinion on Haiden from critical to positive.

I don’t dislike Haiden because he’s good at riding a dirt bike. I respect his abilities and know he’s a great racer. I dislike him because he has the personality of an asshole.

Yes, I did try the MX32 front, along with MX33, 34, and MX3S. The MX3S was a clear choice to me. I have an AT82 front mounted, but have not used it yet. I do have some weights. These may be after some use, so don’t take them too precisely. The AT82 weight are brand new tires, the others have some use, though not worn out. Old MX32 rear: 11lb 10oz New MX32 rear: 11 8oz MX34 rear: 11 14oz AT82 rear: 11 11oz AT82 front: 8 6oz MX32 front: 8 11oz Edit: MX14: 11 5oz

Yeah I'm the same, my current 25 350 being my best so far. Over the years I've found the things that I like the best and work for me. I'm running Dal soggio forks, luxon 23.5mm clamps, luxon knuckle, twin injector kit and akro slip-on, none of which is needed but man it has made an already awesome bike even better.

I’m in the camp of I’d rather not hear either of them on the podium. They’re both cringey for different reasons. On a side note I find myself completely tuned out on 250s this season so far. It’s not even just that one guy is running away as much as it’s just kinda boring all the way through the pack. Or at least what’s been televised anyway. Feel like the East/West split has run its course. I’d much rather see the best on 250s race every weekend.

He will be okay. He raced a few D16 races and on a 125, he was passing and even beat some really good guys on 450’s that were leading open A. He’s quick, I do see his point at racing a year in B on a 250 but man he’s ridiculously quick.

As someone who has been racing for over 40 years as well as raced national races in recent years, the problem is that the LL group of racers have become so far separated from local level racers that there really needs to be a separation of levels. In the C and B class there should be a local ranking and national ranking. Let these C class sand bagger move up to B at the local level and then let them race C at the national level. Because if you go to the national races you would see that they belong...

Something to keep in mind I always tell people to just get the XC-F or the FX, the off-road huskies are not 10mm lower only the MX bikes. You get the new awesome spring forks and you can put a SX tank on it for $120, and the 18" rear is fine for us mortals on an MX bike. A new 19" rear is going to be cheaper than spending money getting the air forks how you like them. There is no other difference in the engine, tuning, etc between the two.
