I was finally able to get mine out and get it broke in. Power wise so far I like it better than my 24 Yamaha. Super smooth linear power. I did not feel much of a difference playing with the different mapping options. As far as suspension it felt pretty good. Not earth shattering but definitely smooth and a better feel than what I remember air feeling on my 19 KTM. Set up in the middle of recommended range and then went to the comfort setting. Has anyone even noticed the noisy cam chain slap on startup on the new gen engine? I have not heard of it on any bikes. My 2020 had the noise very noticeably so I put a Manual tensioner on, My 2025 has almost 50 hrs and never made a noise. I assume something is different either in the tensioner or in the oiling to it.

Has any journalist ever asked Feld "Why do the riders have to pay an entry fee?" They are the reason you're selling tickets and have a TV package. What do the entry fees go toward? Also bikes are way too expensive. New 450 $10K? Add in exhaust, graphics, suspension, plus expensive gear, travel, entry fees. To- 20 in 450 SX should make 200K year. Top 20 in 250 SX should make 100K. Not breaking even to make a main event is laughable.

Maybe they should stop making the riders pay $250 to enter each race. That is $4,250 for a 450 class rider to do all 17 races. Instead of charging the riders to race, how about paying them? Pay every rider except maybe the top 10 in points $500 to sign up and try to qualify? At least they will know a small portion of their expenses will be paid. Of course, this is only open to qualified pros. And, the last chance qualifier needs to pay a lot more.
